Whoa. I can barely keep up. I almost didn't click on video because I thought this was your 16-1 I watched already. How does klein keep dropping new models so fast? whoa. I guess I'm going to buy another screwdriver tomorrow lol
Joey, I hope you are staying warm where you are. Another great video. I am 100% with you on the 1/4” business end of the flip sockets. I dislike having to adjust the socket depth with barely 1 hand holding on and the other trying to get my flip socket and the right depth. Not to mention that absolute countless bits I’ve lost and still lose sometimes because I forget and stick them in my tool pouch and walking and bumping knocks or bit out of the end when we are just walking around. They were gonna need to beef up that small magnet or do this. And I like this right here. Yall be safe out there
Had the 11-in 1 impact for a while now, now I have the perfect excuse to grab this one. It's just so convenient having not just the bits but also the sockets for hvac applications all on the same thing while having less to carry. It's awesome and the rubber molding on their screwdrivers is among the best imo. The bit storage is a big perk vs. The 11-1 being just a flip socket as mentioned in the video
0:20 I took advantage of Acme Tools sale the other day too. I got some stuff that never seems to go on sale… digital levels and a nail gun. The dedicated bit holder on this one looks interesting. Just added it to my cart. 👍🏻
@MORGANSMaintenance I just ordered yesterday, so my stuff is arriving Wednesday/Thursday. They had $15 off $100/$30 off $200/$45 off $300. I got 16”, 24”, 48”, and 72” Empire digital levels, Milwaukee’s M12 18 gauge nailer, and some Kraft Tool trowels.
Thx Joey, I've been an electrician for 40+ years. I love Klein and I have many Klein tools. I was really excited when the k-nect system first came out and bought several sets but I can't get excited any longer. It pains me to say it's now just small iterations of the same things collectively costing way too much money 🧰
Yeah, they just keep coming out with stuff with one small detail being different. What is really odd is how close together they are at releasing them. 🤷♂️
That's true I didn't even think about that. That's kinda strange. On another subject... What do you think about Milwaukee suing Klein over packout patent infringement? I definitely see Milwaukee's point. Way too similar in design.
They are very similar in the way they work.. but there are slight differences. I see why Milwaukee is upset, but I’m not sure how easy it will be to win that. It’s not like they are identical but different colors
Thanks for the look! As nice as the dedicated bit-holder looks, in watching Curtis and other HVAC techs, they are frequently using both sides of the 1/4" + 5/16" flip socket on the same cabinet, and only grabbing a different one when they're taking out a motor. This will make the 16-in-1 the better choice [for HVAC]. It would be nice if Klein would sell individual flip-sockets, so you can just get the one(s) you want. You can buy individual bits; why not flip-sockets?
This is pretty cool. Glad I held out on getting the 16 in 1. Now if I do decide to buy one of these it will be the 17 in 1. Although I do agree with you I’d almost just prefer to have the newer 11 in 1. That’s the best screwdriver they’ve come up with yet so far in my opinion. It has almost everything you need yet still a simple design
Agree with you at the end, you can replicate most of those features with the impact 11 i 1, in fact I keep an ECX bit in the Magnetic holder. Definitely makes the 16 in 1 obsolete though!
I held off on the 16-in-1, but because of the 1/4” flip socket end I’ll pick this one up. Hoping they drop just the shaft with the two flip sockets for maybe $10.
I have a quarter hex to 3/8 from soms other tool brand from past. Does the same thing and i can use it with all my connect screw drivers. Not planning on buying anymore screwdrivers from klien unless they are battery operated.
I really like this one but my day to day favorite is the impact 11-in-1. I was debating on getting the 16-in-1 because its nice having the extension if need be and the extra bits. But I am curious on what is on your impact instead of the belt clip.

Curious if the 5/16 and the 3/8 flip socket would fit inside the 11-1 handle? Looks like this shaft length might be too long but a shorter shaft would work.
One thing Klein is missing with these multi-bit screwdrivers is there should be an open slot in the carousel for the bit you remove from the bit holder to use the nut drivers. Sure you can choose to take out a bit you don't use frequently to create that slot but that kind of defeats the purpose. Just my opinion. Also where do you purchase replacement bits for these?
Klein is turning out to be the “Transformer” of tools. I am always looking for, and wanting a more compact and less-to-carry around tool system. But the Klein stuff is turning out to be a bit fiddly & confusing with all the flipping, turning around, and adapters needed. For me at least. Much more usable with that new bit holder end. I'd consider that 17 in one if it was just double ended or 1/4in square on the other side. Maybe they will sell a flip socket no handle with that new end because I do run a 5/16 and 3/8s malco as well. Way to pry open the wallet folds and I know there's more temptations comming. With the 11 in one double side I'd be a perfect ish multi driver don't make me buy one just to Rob the flip sockets off it.
