Wow does this bring back memories. Just remember your main focus is your daughter and YOU! Don't worry about getting stuff done. Sleep is everything. I remember so well feeling like I should be getting more done in the day. Nope! Wish I could go back and have a greater peace with that. The days will just go on and on like this. It's boring, but you'll look back on these videos some day and just marvel at how ya got thru, the joys, the frustration, the learning. Oh, and the drives to encourage sleep, visits to Target/Walmart, feeling exhausted (again, brings back so many memories) Awww, love your videos. You're doing such an awesome job! And p.s. Madison is so adorable!! My son is almost 2 now and this really brings back those newborn memories 🥰 he hated tummy time also! Fisher price makes a little mat with a piano they can lay and kick (target/amazon sell it) and that really was a huge game changer for him to start enjoying it 🙂

Don't you just love how babies flail their arms and legs around which on the surface seems so random, but they are really learning all about how to move their muscles and how they relate to their environment. It's so cool to watch them learn how to be a person. Y'all have so much ahead to marvel at as she grows. Great video. Maybe in the future a video on what you expected life with a baby would be like vs. the reality of life with baby. ❤️❤️❤️

It's great to see you all! Madison has Zac's eyes, and she's adorable. Aren't those slings wonderful? My oldest was colicky until he was about 5 months (no reflux, though), but I didn't have any slings. Got one with my younger son and we used it until he was almost 4!

My son started sleeping through the night around 5.5 hours at 2.5 months. Gradually, he increased the amount he sleeps through the night, overtime. He is 8 months in less than 10 hours and he sleeps 10 hours, wakes up for a feed around 4am and then goes right back to sleep and is up and ready for the day at 6am. His bedtime is 6:30pm. In the beginning, his bedtime was between 9-11pm, then he changed it to 8:30pm, then 7:30pm and finally stuck to 6:30pm. His bedtime can vary when he is teething badly, like tonight. He went to bed at 6:30 and woke up around 8. He finally fell asleep around 10:40pm. Then
I have a 5 week old and I use a safetsleep with him. I thought this may be something you would enjoy. It holds baby in one position in the bassinet so that they can't go anywhere. If you were to use this then you could safely tilt the bassinet upright so you could put her right down after feedings at night. I am from New Zealand but I see they sell them on Amazon also. Hope this helps :) your daughter is gorgeous!

My mum used to have long hair like yours except when she had both of us kids she cut it all off because we used to pull it really hard and it used to give a really bad headaches when we pulled it

If you haven’t already, see a legit lactation consultant. So many babies have tongue ties and that gets mistaken for acid reflux. I’m sure you already get tons of unsolicited advice, but releasing the tongue/lip tie can make a huge difference. Hope this helps and you’ll get the hang of things in no time :)

If you put the new diaper under her before taking off the old diaper that will improve your diaper changing time. An Au pair taught me that cause my niece kept peeing everytime we took off the old diaper.

Don't worry it will get better I've done it 7 times my youngest is turning 3 next month and I thought I would never get any sleep either but my husband helped a lot. Have you tried gas drops and and a breast feeding pillow for tummy time
She is so adorable. I wore all my kids. Have you tried having her laying down in the sling? I got more stuff done and could eat better if they were laying instead of sitting up. I breastfed in my sling too. Easy to walk and get stuff done.

Tummy time gives the baby a chance to practice lifting their head and work out their muscles! It’s like a baby workout!
