- Somers High School - Video Yearbook - 1988
This video was created in 1988 as I was going through my senior year in High School from Somers New York.
This would technically be my first "credited" video production.
I worked with my classmates to shoot these scenes for a company that we would send the clips off to, and they put together the opening, and all of the selected clips into the final video.
I had forgotten about this video until recently a classmate posted a copy onto FaceBook.
I apologize for the outfits and hairstyles it was 1988.
It was not or fault.

I here ya....sometimes I was old news casts from the 80s before I go to bed because in some small way it makes me feel like I've gone back in time.

Wow. What a great trip down memory lane! I was class of ‘90 and it was funny seeing myself with hair and faces I haven’t seen since high school . The VHS quality really gives it that real time capsule nostalgic feel.
Take me back to the 80s and leave me there.

That was my senior year in high school,too. My high school during my freshman year had a bad fire just before Christmas break in 1984. Entire school was bused to another high school that was smaller and was 30 minutes away for 2 and a half years. It was great during my senior year to hang out after school to explore the new school while it was still under construction during that year. I did that during the 1st semester of my freshman year.
Very very similar to growing up at the same time in New Zealand. Great video, thanks for the upload.

This was my freshman year of High School. Yep. Listening to Boomer teachers telling us about the 60s. 😄. I'd take that any day over what kids go through today with their childish teachers who all seem to be sleeping with their students
