No. I am talking about the paddy(rice) cultivation doing there is below water level. I meant the water level is higher than the cultivating field level. The water from the lake is blocked by the muddy wall which is man made.
Sorry for multiple comments, but I have to tell you something. Kerala is famous for their massage's. Indian medicinal science which is called Aurveda is widely practiced in kerala, For these massages they use Aurvedic practices which is good for your skin and body. So many people who got some dislocations or some pains when untreatable by normal doctors and medicine go to kerala for treatment. So try it once. The first boat, which has couple of open balcony in top, think kids, even adults might will enjoy that better than double Decker closed boat + high chance it be multi occupancy, due to that fact but i am only 10mins in video, lets wait and see how your 2nd boat experience go. Indian driving may seem bonkers to western developed nations mindset, but trust me you will never see a pileup of cars in India (train of cars in accident), and even if there is a accident, its generally minor ones. As long as a Indian is driving, trust me you be very safe. Embrace the chaos, it may not seem like it, but its organised chaos.
Yes, we noticed that there are very few accidents here and the drivers are very attentive and react well to sudden maneuvers. Very impressive driving skills :) And you were right about the boats ;)
Going on a boat ride is one of my core memories from when i was a child, those kids are blessed! And love your optimistic look on an uncomfortable situation, its the best way to travel. (Its never been this hot in Kerala, hopefully the heat wave goes away soon.)

Hi, Since the food you are having may be new, please do not hesitate to ask anyone around what each item is and how or in what combination they have to be eaten to get the right experience. Idli, the sponge item is to be had with coconut chutney (the creamy looking sauce) or Sambaar (curry), take a piece of Idli, dip in either and savour the taste.... All in all loving the family members enjoying Kerala, most people understand English but may not be able to communicate because of lesser grasping power proportional to your speed of conversing. When in doubt, speak slowly and use equivalent words if possible to get a good response. Also do use Google to find out a little more about each food item you have so that you can get to know the ingredients, and also about the place you are visiting. Stay safe and healthy all of you
That is not hummus it's coconut chutney and not sponge it's idly made of rice steamed. Basically Idly should be taken in pieces and use chutney and other items like sambar as dips to go with it. It's very safe and healthy food.Won't harm your gut .
I have seen many foreigners' video in Alleppy house boat. I haven't seen anyone facing these kind of problems. May be you didn't do much research and just booked a random boat. Bad handling of your trip can end up in such difficulties... So always plan properly.
We booked the stay through a reputable travel company. The reviews were all good and the pictures looked great. In the end, we had a good time but many things can be improved. This was our experience, I'm sure each one is unique. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
We visited Munnar, just posted that video. The temperature was much cooler, but the sun was still very strong! We all got sun burned although it was cloudy. Thank you for watching 🙏
please go to kokkumalai trek enjoy sunset varkala beach there is so much more than cities here missin out on more visitin touristy places. the real beauty of kerala lies in its nature
There are a few things you could have checked 1. First thing, nobody stays in a houseboat for more than a day. You get pretty bored after that unless there are a lot of activities. It is an experience combining an affordable stay. 2. Houseboats generally donot have WIFI, since it is away from shore you could use your mobile data which is pretty cheap in India. 3. It was unfortunate that you need to change your room. Did they cite any reason?
Good points. 1. Yes, a day is long enough. Glad we got to experience both boats. One to ourselves and one with other guests. 2. We expected wi-fi because it was listed in the booking description and the crew said it was available. The second boat had it at the front while we were docked, but not when we were cruising. 3. We were put on the wrong boat the first day. Unforutantely, there must have been a miscommunication the second day as the rooms were booked by other guests so we had to move to the boat we were supposed to be on originally. Thanks for watching! 🙏
@OurTinyAdventure great thanks for your reply. It is great that you are travelling with your family. Try visiting the hills of Kerala..like Vagamon or Munnar. Visit a fruit farms ..there are a lot of seasonal fruits in Kerala.
3 days on the boat is too much. In fact a 5 hour cruise is quite good. If you have seen one coconut tree you have seen them all. Nothing to do in the night when the boat is anchored. It’s a tropical place so lot of insects and mosquitoes.
Yes, it was nice to have both experiences. I think better communication would have gone a long way. But we made the best of it, or at least we tried 👍 Thanks for watching 🙏
I would have seen at least 100 videos in 2..3 yrs on KERALA trip the standard 4 point vlogs. But I have seen that some visitors especially from some countries expect TOO MUCH when they demand service but will not disclose at what rate ( usually got discounted after bargainig) they paid for services. There is a saying. If you throw PEANUTS as remuneration, you will get only MOKEYS AS LABOUR. They just barge in without seeing interiors or facilities available before booking. And they give videos of the boat and booking intimation mentions the name of the boat. Everything depends upon proper advance planning .
You have landed in India during the most hottest months in India. So cant really complain about the heat. HAHA. 😅😅 I like your idea of just going with the flow. If there is an issue dont keep it to yourself, you ask and you will definitely get it. For example they could have served you on Banana Leaf on request. Enjoy your time in God's own Country!

@@joylife428 so is in the world... It's not like accidents happen only in India
Visit North East India also
We would love to visit lots more parts of India. Beautiful country
You're kids are so adorable and matured, love from kerala 👍
Thank you 😊🙏
The dessert is called a "payasam". What you see in it is not noodles. It is semolina.
Oh, very interesting! My wife LOVED it and has been trying to find it again.
@@OurTinyAdventure if you ask around for a vermicelli or semolina payasam, you may be able to get it. It is a very easily made dessert
Stay safe and healthy all of you
Great advice, thanks!
Thank you so much for watching 🙏
@@OurTinyAdventure welcome, take care 💓
"The bed is like Marshmallow" was so cute🥰
Thank you for watching 🙏
25:47, thats pakora, kind of fritters made of onion and chickpea flour along with curry leaves and chilies.
I like them 👍 thanks for commenting to let us know what they are and thanks for watching 🙏
That is not hummus it's coconut chutney and not sponge it's idly made of rice steamed. Basically Idly should be taken in pieces and use chutney and other items like sambar as dips to go with it. It's very safe and healthy food.Won't harm your gut .
Welcome to India ❤❤
Thank you 🙏
Very nice video.. smart kids..speedboat ride 😳👍💙💙💙💙lot of love from Kerala . happy and safe journey.
Glad you enjoyed 👍 Thank you so much 😊 and thanks for watching 🙏
Enjoy India!
Thanks so much
I have seen many foreigners' video in Alleppy house boat.
They have to head interior to the tea plantations where high elevations keeps the temperatures very pleasantly cool.
We visited Munnar, just posted that video. The temperature was much cooler, but the sun was still very strong! We all got sun burned although it was cloudy.
Thank you for watching 🙏
Love watching the kids have fun it’s awesome to watch what ya are doing and where you’re at I think all of ya had a blast on the speed boat ❤
The "jet boat" was the highlight of the trip. We almost went again on the second day! Thanks for always watching 🙏
There are a few states in the North that you should avoid like Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. Rest of India should be fine.
You forget most visited place in india is Agra and Banaras which is in Agra , Uttarpradesh
If you got some times , could explore Ladakh , Darjeeling, Meghalay, sikkim, north east india, Andaman Nicobar island...
The kids are so cute
Kids are cute and intelligent ❤❤❤
Thanks 😊

Thank you 😊
You must wash hands using soap before starting eating. ❤That's the right way. ❤
saw your 3 videos and I have a small suggestion that is you shouldn't compromise on what you deserve
I appreciate that 👍 Thanks for watching 🙏
There are a few things you could have checked
Come to varkala. Its so amazing there...
It's nice to see ur House boat trip.they should explain the food little bit actually u taste coconut chutney and idly(rice cake)
Many people mentioned this. Now we know 🤣 Thank you for watching 🙏
3 days on the boat is too much. In fact a 5 hour cruise is quite good. If you have seen one coconut tree you have seen them all. Nothing to do in the night when the boat is anchored. It’s a tropical place so lot of insects and mosquitoes.
I do agree, 1 day is enough. But we had a great time. Thanks for watching 🙏
I'm from alappey ❤️❤️
Your hometown is a beautiful place 😍
Speeeeed boat awsomeer🎉🎉🎉

@31.26 that is coconut chutney,
Beautiful 😍
Thanks for watching 🙏
Its sad they had you endure such turmoil but on the bright side you got to experience two boats.
Yes, it was nice to have both experiences. I think better communication would have gone a long way. But we made the best of it, or at least we tried 👍
Thanks for watching 🙏
Stay safe and protect your family the summer is too hot here in Kerala.
Will do 👍
Thanks for watching 🙏
We booked through Agoda, an online travel agency. $100/night. We had a good experience, but there is room for improvements.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Try to visit Malappuram....its the best...you shall have amazing time there.....

You should visit some hill stations like munnar, Kodaikanal or ooty
Stay tuned 😉
Welcome. To. India. Love. S. God
Little did we know 🤣
Good to know about the banana leaf request, I would have liked that.
Thank you for watching! 🙏
❤❤❤ Cute kids
Thank you 😊 thanks for watching 🙏
Falafel is what it’s similar too
You are selected an old boat. There are lot of good house boats. I don't know how much they charged . No good facilities in that boat.
