DAMN THATS WHY I LOVE MONSTADT
The ending segment with Venti and the cutscene made me tear up a little bit. It took place in Stormterro's Lair which is my favorite location in the game. Whenever we may travel Monstandt will always feel like home.
I really appreciate the work you put into your videos. It would be so easy to just put whole stream without editing it but you took extra steps.
I chose the Cecilia as well, for 2 reasons: 1. it is my favorite Mondstadt Flower and 2. because Venti is wearing one in his hair
I believe it is also one of Venti's ascention materials as well

THANK YOU SO MUCH! It makes me so happy to know that a lot of people like the time capsule approach to the content here on RUclips, while still having up-to-date content to look forward to on Twitch. It wasn't my initial plans when I started this series, as I was just unmotivated to make a gaming channel and edit all of my content when I first started playing Genshin, but now it turned out to be a great way of getting new people to discover me and either relive or experience parts of the game for the first time! So thank you so much for watching and enjoying the series so far! :)
Fun fact:
Venti's favourite flower is cecilia, it's said in his voicelines :D
The Cecilia was also my choice, since it's the flower which Venti uses to Ascend and also is the one he wears on his hat. I mean, he clearly loves that flower, so I guess it COULD have been his own Windblume after all.
The nameless bard had a Cecilia in his outfit i think it's way more deep than we think
I want to tank you for one simple reason. Most of the streamers when they put something in youtube just cut a part or maybue do a bit of edition but almost no one check audio volume. Your videos are the right volume always. Not too low, not too high.
You just added like 10 years to my lifespan with this comment. I can assure you that 90% of my meticulous time spent editing ANY aspect of gaming content is spent going over my audio levels with a fine tooth brush. I make sure to normalize game audio when I'm talking, lower combat audio, as that's when a lot of the mixing gets bombastic, and increase any audio focusing on character's talking, so the dialogue comes across clearly. It's widely understood that viewers can tolerate sub-par video quality as low as 480p/720p, but they will NOT tolerate bad audio, and there's nothing I take more seriously than proper audio balancing. Unfortunately, that's the big reason why videos take me forever to edit, along with going over the content again to decide what's worth showcasing on RUclips vs what's more suited for a livestream audience. In any case, thank you so much for leaving this one simple comment. It's makes a world of difference in my motivation to continue doing things the way I do. :)

It's been months since we last saw Venti so watching this time capsule is such a treat.
I know. This is the last up-to-date story content that we get with him, though the last thing I did regarding Venti was his story quest. I miss him so much, and really want to know if he'll talk to us about what happened at Khaenri'ah since we haven't seen him extensively since meeting Dainsleif, and Zhongli gave us an NDA clause when we confronted him about it.
@@MurderofBirdsImpact I really hope we get to meet him and other Mondstadt characters before we go to Sumeru, with the premise of the manga and all that. I'm 70% sure we'll meet them again before we go to the next region.
Ah, the windblume festival. The most just-vibing event of all. I hope we get another this year. Lol.
All the archons so far have their arrogation shown with their ideals themselves. But I always have to argue that, no, Venti is neither lazy nor complacent. This is a common misconception about him. He is always there when important things were happening (Decarabian, Aristocratic era, Durin) and he always shows up to save the day when the mortals cant do it. He really just be the epitome of true freedom.
Great choice for windblume as well, the Anemo Archon is pleased. Lol.

I chose the Cecilia, too. I thought to use the dandelion at first but then remembered the Cecilia was Venti's ascension material so I went with that instead.
There are no words to describe how grateful I am for you to upload this and actually take the time to prepare this time-capsule Genshin thing. I wasn't around when the Windblume Festival happened, so it was SO GOOD to experience it with you. Events like this are the biggest reason I spend so much time playing this game. Makes me teary eyed everytime we get to see characters interacting with each other outside the archon quests. Thank you so much!
I know these Genshin videos are archives from long ago when the versions were actually up (maybe), but I can't wait to see the We Will Be Reunited vid, and Arnold's reaction.
I know you and a lot of other viewers are eager for the We Will Be Reunited quest, but I hope these other story events are enjoyable in the meantime. I actually just finished editing the We Will Be Reunited quest the other night, and it clocks in at 1 hour, 33 minutes, so there are a lot of exciting reactions and theories of mine that came true, so I'm sure you'll all enjoy it!

Man, I didn't get to do this festival when it was released (wasn't playing yet) but I still find myself smiling at that last bit with Venti.

When venti said let the heart decide, I just realized that he became my favorite character, by the way, as venti, he loves cecilia

and we just got out of raiden's quest, where we get a "dream sakura" whose existence is suspended in time, and the talk of "dreams" itself
venti in his story quest said "meet me at the usual spot" yet traveler at the time didn't know what he was talking about
venti also claims to know the songs of "past, present, and future"

in 2.6, there are rumors he will show up at the inazuma festival as well
i really hope there are more references to venti and his relation to the god of time!
Cecilias are in Venti's hair and are his lvl up material which, imo, made it his Windblume.

Just wanted to say I'm loving your Genshin content. Watching up to this point on RUclips convinced me to start playing again after a little break and give you a sub on Twitch as well. I especially like your enthusiasm and interest in the lore. I enjoy that part of the game, but you go the extra mile to dive deeper into it, so watching you has shown me plenty details I skipped over.
So, Timaeus's love poem is about someone he works with but he has never had the nerve to tell them and he believes they don't know...

@MurderofBirds Gaming I'm experiencing Windblume vicariously through you because I started playing after last year's Windblume, so thank you for this. I can't help but think that there was no need to seek out Albedo to decipher the recipe. When Sucrose said it was an ancient language she didn't recognize, my mind immediately went to, "Barbatos is standing RIGHT THERE! Ask HIM! He's probably old enough to recognize the language!"
3 years later Natlan literally hours away and Albedo is still painting 😅
The windblume festival was pretty cool and the ending cutscene was really good! I agree with being able to see characters in the places they are known to be at would be really cool.
This is extra nostalgic, this is around when I first started playing and to the day I have Venti on the bow from this event for the ~vibes~ And I love you can see how much they learned from the first Lantern Rite, all the playable characters who pop up here! Vs just Xiao (and I guess Kaeya 😂) for LR.
and MAN, the first time you're seeing about Mare Jivari, and we are finally getting ever closer to seeing it ourselves in present day!!! (Though I'm guessing the'll make us wait a few Natlan patches before we get to it on the map)

This was such a treat to watch, and im so sad that people who missed events like these just never get to experience the lore or cutscenes that they bring, even though they add so much life into the characters and develops their respective personalities more, those people just dont get to experience things thatd make the world feel more complete
Hey Arnold. You know what would be really cool? Since both Zhongli and Ei have two-parter story quests, what if Venti’s part two story quest involves delving deep into the areas of Old Mondstadt that are currently blocked by the wind? Maybe we could also have a glimpse into what Old Mondstadt previously looked like. Oh, even better: we could fight an apparition of Decarabian himself!!! I would honestly love that! 😁

This place is chill, warm, and leaves everyone a nostalgic feeling.
I didn't get to participate to one because I just started playing on 2.3 so I'm really glad that I get to see this by watching the series! I'm enjoying this series a lot because I get to see what Genshin is before, like extra lores and stuff. And oh yeah Windblume rerun is almost there so I'll be looking forward to that!

I was using up my resin while also watching but when the cutscene was about to play, I obviously gotta focus on it xD I loved the cutscene sm especially because my boys Razor, Albedo and Bennett were there but just seeing all the characters I love actually interact is such a nice feeling.
You said this has three videos so I'm assuming the third part is the mini-games which is really cool that you'll make a video for it too

i started playing during windblume and wiffed out on the venti banner sadge haha. i think i chose the dandelion as my windblume, it made so much sense to me with how the seeds are scattered in the wind. to me it perfectly represented the interaction between life and wind. im so happy with these time capsules! it really brought me back to when i started aaaah, cant wait for ventis sussy baka pt 2 story quest haha. i never trusted that man lmao

I think Mare Jivari is in Natlan and specifically it's the place Bennet was most likely found. So...it might take a couple of years (2,5) before we get there.

I think over 1,000 at the time of this event. I remember when Albedo came out, I didn't have enough Cecilia to max his ascensions, due to their limited respawn time, and only being limited to Starsnatch Cliff, so from 1.2 onward, I made sure that I'd always have more cecilias than I've ever need to go through, lol.
