  • The Black Moon Clan image song Kekki! Hangyaku no Ichizoku, from the Black Lady Kaiteiban musical. I added English subtitles because I didn't find any version of this song with them. Featuring Hikari Ono as Prince Dimande.

      They wanted to force everyone on Earth into their way of thinking-- against the Earthlings' will. That's called tyranny. They also wanted to make sure everybody died. That's called genocide.

      @@MaskedMan66 Well, I was going off of the lyrics in the video. Making it sound like he wanted to revert it to the old way where people lived within their means and life had meaning cause they weren't immortal or w/e. Of course its their perspective and painting it in a positive light when its not. My comment was originally made in the light of "What's the big deal!? Sounds good to me! Humanity has become slothful, spoiled and vain!"

      @@Spazticspaz Who says an immortal life can't have meaning? As far as I know, the inhabitants of Earth as ruled by Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion were not slothful, spoiled, or vain (at least no more than humans have ever been).

    So much work goes into this musicals , and mostly they are great. So why do they screw up by putting english into it? It's as absurd as making an english play and then add japanese to the song.

    • @MaskedMan66
      @MaskedMan66 7 лет назад +3

      Because Japanese put other languages into all their music, most often French and English. It isn't "screwing up" anything; it's how the Japanese roll.

      @@Spazticspaz I never thought he was supposed to be childish; was he? And I don't mean anything against Hikari Ono; she's a dynamic and brilliant Triple Threat (that's someone who sings, dances, and acts). It's just that Diamond/Demand is my fave Sailor Moon villain.

      @@MaskedMan66 like youthful or young i mean, green, ya know. Naive and Abrasive. Can't find the right words for it right now, haha. But I respect your thought process, a man in a man's role just makes sense, right?

      @@Spazticspaz Oh, okay, I get it now. Youthful, yeah, that makes sense. Childish generally means immature.
      They were all over the place with the casting of the Black Moon Family in that show; two of the men were played by woman and one of the women was played by a man.
