This was probably filmed as part of their prep work for filming the Jopping MV so that means it was filmed mid-2019, 3+ years ago. It's to help them all, including the camera operators, know how they are going to film the group dance sequences for the MV (so the camera will have its own "choreo" too) But things got changed since then as the dance developed and they finalised the MV and eventually stage plans. It may be one reason why SM did not release this until now. Dance practice videos actually started as just basic films to help the staff of music shows etc know what to prepare for on stage and as a record for the members and choreographer. Then they got more fancy as they started being released to fans years back. But this came out the day after their 3 year debut anniversary and fans had been begging for any content to commemorate the occasion. Then this dropped and I was just so happy to see them (plus it's fun to see the process and how it evolved)

Seeing only TAEMIN in detail we realize that he is different, he is the best dancer in kpop, he has an incredible fluidity in his body, they don't pay attention to him because he is not always in the center but he is a higher level than the others.
among all of them i like taemin he adds a lot of details to his dance,his lines are clean and perfect also he makes the dance look so easy (although in reality it is not) it's really pleasant to see him dance jopping introduced me to him as a dancer.
