I feel you on the comment about bruisers. All of them have had a fucked up balance history and some had specially toxic moments (like Morty's side special and the eat characters). Smith is definitely on the cleaner side. Some of his knockbacks seem mad bugged though. Sometimes the insect and the final hit of the jab string just don't knock back people very far even at high damage for some reason

Yeah, smith is actually pretty fair all things considered. However, shaggy, morty, banana guard, etc, all really have some core gameplay issues

1v1 is the best way to play this game. Whete u can actually do combos and play neutral etc. 2v2 and FFA is just a party game.
