Tips and advice for gathering and leveling up:
(1) Gathering materials was a huge misunderstanding that I didn't get till 60+ hours into the game. Gatharable and huntable things come in three qualities; fine, superior, and exquisite which are randomly generated. Collecting one in its pristine weather/condition won't guarantee it being of superior or exquisite quality. You can always inspect the material before collecting and you should get a little breakdown of what that item is as well as its quality. You can also look up videos on where to find things if your impatient like me.
(2) leveling doesn't work through doing side quests or main missions. Your general level comes from the gear and weapons you currently have equipped. You can always buy better equipment from the clans using clan favors, or get their free designs and make them yourself. I hope this helped for anyone struggling in this game, it really just kinda throws you into things.

IMO side quests do help, bc usually at the end of them u get clan favor (to get new + stronger items) and sometimes superior armor, which at this point in game can be a huge upgrade, I understand where ur coming from though

Donate the shelter fruit by holding donate button. You’ve never actually given it to them. The mission isn’t repeating. Last video was really good I’m so glad you decided to play this.

Navi share everything they have with other Navi unlike humans who want trade for trade. But you have to do things for them still (like donating to community basket) or just general quest!
