When Bret grabbed Perfect’s leg drop and reversed it into the Sharpshooter at SummmerSlam ‘91, I was 9 years old and thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.
Being born in the late 90s and growing up watching the ruthless aggression era, this channel is a treasure trove of wrestling blunders I never even knew about. You’re doing gods work. Happy thanksgiving!
"The bear was lethally removed" Lol reminds me of a news article I read about a criminal the police killed, the statement said the suspect had been "neutralized by bullets" 😂😂😂 Also, it's said that Randy Savage left WWF to go to WCW because Vince didn't want him to wrestle anymore, but I think it had more to do with the fact that he was forced to watch and call matches like Bastion Booger vs. Crush lol
"why don't they give Marty the win?" *facepalm* He DID win. While they don't come out and say it outright: This once again somebody whining because the heel, aka the VILLAIN cheated. They do realize that wrestling is essentially good vs evil don't they? Bad guys cheat.
Bad guys do cheat but rarely do you have a bad guy cheat to win and have the finish overturned. If you were going to do that what was the point to Doink cheating to beat Marty?
@@UMOGrunt He's the heel, that's the point of him cheating. Heels are the villains in Pro-Wrestling. Cheating is how you differentiate heels from faces and how heels get heat. Point is to get the audience angry at the heel, which is what heat is(they keep referring to faces getting heat, faces draw sympathy) the audience will think "that f'ing Doink couldn't beat Marty fair and square that bastard" Doink gets over as a heel and Jannety does too because it shows couldn't beat him without cheating. Pro-Wrestling isn't scripted MMA, it's a storytelling vehicle. Complaining about heels cheating is like watching Die Hard and whining because Hans shoots Takagi instead of sending him back with the other hostages.
I don't wanna speak for others. I feel UMO is referring to the finish specifically; why cheat to win, *then* overturn the finish? From context clues, it's too much. If Marty is gonna win anyways, why have doink go thru all that, just to job?
@@UMOGrunt At it's core, pro-wrestling is a depiction of Good vs Evil. You can't have a strong face without a strong heel. You can't have a strong villain unless the villain does things that makes them one. Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat
@@The_Fuj It's very simple: The finish ends with Doink having more heat on him, and it makes Marty look strong because it showed that Doink couldn't beat him fair and square. He had to cheat. The more heat on Doink the better because he's a heel, drawing heat is what they do. The point is to make the audience even more angry at him.

Bret Hart vs. Mr Perfect at KOTR 1993 is the greatest slept on match in WWE history.
The Fuj coming through on the holiday, super Thankful for this one 🙏🏾

the Fuj timing always impeccable. Getting paid dbl to listen to BVC not much better to be thankful for
"Make that money, don't let it make you."
