At this moment The Weeknd is on a whole different level, compared to the music industry in general. Considering that this track will be on SHM album, I really hope we will get a collab on Abel's new album (a featuring or even some ghost production)

I remember listening to Swedish House Mafia in the late 2000s, early 2010s, and their EDM music was awesome. Like you said, it's not too hard-hitting, but it's just enough to make you love the production they make~ For them to collaborate with The Weeknd is fire. Even though Swedish House Mafia has not really been on the scene since 2013, so 8 damn years, but their production skills are still some of the best out there.
A shame it seems everyone is giving TheWeeknd all the credit. No disrespect he is amazing and i am a fan but SHM did the production on this sick track they deserve more recognition. But i know the guys are pro's at marketing so i gues this was done the way it is on purpose (released on TheWeeknd channel probably more views seems the most logical ofcourse) Loved your reaction btw man🙏
Bruh you need good vocals in order for the mixes to sound good you would know that if you did music so it kinda is all The Weeknd without his voice the song wouldn’t be what it is no one has his voice plenty of edm people could have dropped a beat like this trust but none has The Weeknd’s voice
@@endi2926 I do music, and I can say you're wrong. Firstly, not everyone can make an instrumental like this. Swedish House Mafia's new sound is there and it's fully present and you can easily hear it. Secondly, Abel has a wonderful voice, that's true, and certainly is a huge part in what the song is. However, Swedish House Mafia's production ALSO makes the song what it is. I'm sure plenty of producers in general, not just EDM ones, are technically skilled enough to make such an instrumental, however that's like saying that so many singers are able to sing like the Weeknd on this song. They are, but they're not the Weeknd. As you said, they don't have his voice, and in the the same way other people aren't Swedish House Mafia and they can't replicate their own unique sound. So, I'd disagree. It's definitely not all the Weeknd. Both Swedish House Mafia and Abel did an amazing job on the song along with everyone else involved in the writing process. Also, you don't need good vocals in order for the mix to sound good. Plenty of songs have no vocals and they sound fucking insane. Vocals aren't essential in music.
@@endi2926 Absolutely not!
