Busting out a new personal best - 5.91 @ 242mph! That is freaking INSANE for a short wheel base, 3/4 ca! What’s the power plant pushing this beast to such impressive numbers? That's insane. The people who built that are skilled beyond belief. Not just this one car. All cars that can go through this amount of stress and instant power are amazing in my opinion, and the people who maintain it are even more amazing.

Not even close. 484 mph is the record. There's a gigantic difference btwn this lawnmower only requiring to run 5 seconds at a time and running full tilt with more hp for nearly 5 miles.

There is a point with all these extreme drag cars where the soul of the base car is no longer there. This no longer an 86 in my opinion, other than the visual aspect of it. Think NASCAR "Camry's" lol.
@@TheAkujiki Wrong, it's 3/4 chassis,all steel body,factory length wheelbase and front suspension.Other than the rear suspension and being tubbed to fit the larger wheels it's still very much a corolla,nothing like a nascar or other phony bodied racecar!

eh because v8's in that category are faster? Larson,Lutz , Shroeder, ect run that speed in street legal form and drive 1000+ miles for drag week. Humilde is fast but you wont see it doing drag week anytime soon. Jeff Lutz's car for example ran a 5.85 at 250mph in the quarter and it's street legal.
