While I think Pewdiepie vs. T-Series Era was pretty fun, you are honestly right, it did got out of hand from 2018-2019 with what people were causing with damage to Pewdiepie's reputation just to call off the "Sub to Pewdiepie" meme on late Pewds vs. T-Series Era.
As I'm speaking rn, MrBeast just surpassed PewDiePie like 10 minutes ago (I saw LIVE on YT Battles)
i honestly think that this is one of the best ways this could’ve gone down. i think pewds is and always will be a youtuber that is extremely well known, even if he’s not number one anymore. the thing is, he wasn’t TRYING to be number one anymore. i think he’s just happy for jimmy and that his channel is really taking off.
He is retired from RUclips.Now he's enjoying his life.
Mr beast is a group of people meanwhile PewDiePie is only one person and his editor so there for PewDiePie is still going to be the only channel to reach 100 million without a huge team
The thing is Jimmy plans and controls his channel. He doesn’t need a team to help him but he does it anyway. It’s like having an editor
And most of Pewdiepie’s subscribers were from a trend

This one makes sense. Pewds has been in the RUclips game for a good while. And after the whole Pewds vs T-Series stuff, he’s just doing things for his own pleasure and fun. I’m glad there wasn’t some big battle, or hype to this, because both MeBeast and Pewds are great people in their own right. I think it’s just more of a respectful moment that Pewds is gonna be happy for him when he surpasses him. That I won’t mind at all. The two are great people and creators, and I’d rather it be just those two high up in the charts than it being a cooperation. No battle or hype, just the usual channels gaining subs and passing one another as a usual thing. But yeah, that’s just how I see this whole thing
