As a Catholic I avoid these things too! Thanks for making this video! There's so many beautiful things our faith gives us, we can partake in/practice 💕 Scary movies were never my jam, such a Hallmark girl 😄 I've never and will never have a card reading, I've heard people who give them talk about them around me, I chose not to partake in the conversation and went home and prayed for protection! Really enjoy your videos 🙏🏻

Agree with movies about demons and witchcraft! The first Saw movie came out when I was in high school, and it disturbed me so much. It was hard to get the images out of my head, and I have always been scared that the person who wrote that movie and came up with story had those kind of thoughts in their head.
My family has also had a Halloween tradition for years of watching Hocus Pocus together, and over the last few years, it has been harder and harder for me to watch, especially when the witches see the man in the devil costume and call him “Master” and bow to him. I used to be able to rationalize it and say it was just a movie, but as my faith has grown, especially since becoming a mother, God has shown me that these movies aren’t just innocent fun. What we consume really shapes our hearts and minds.

I 100% agree with you. I used to love Hocus Pocus but after becoming a mother I’ve realized how problematic and demonic that movie is.

I sometimes watch scary movies cause I love stories where the victim or main character triumphs, but a lot of these movies have the villain/monster come back which is annoying imo. xD

I love to decorate for every holiday. Halloween is one of my favorites some scary things and some fun stuff. Is this not something I should be having in my household?
Great question! This is something that God has moved my heart on too. I love decorating. I focus primarily on fall decor for my home to feel festive. I have two snoopy dolls that are dressed up that I put up but that's it. I did dress my son up as bear for Halloween and am just praying God guides me to make the best decisions I can.

But the main thing I'll need help with is that I'm obsessed with fanfictions about Harry Potter. Is it as dangerous to read those stories as it is to watch movies about it? If it is, please tell me and pray for me.

Hi Melissa, so proud of you for deleting your tarrot card app. As far as music is concerned is there a specific genre you like? There are wholesome music in every category. Everything you listen to doesn't need to be Christian as long as sins aren't being normalized and there isn't swearing. What's nice is a lot of songs that have cussing in them have radio edits that cut out the cussing. Praying for God to move your heart away from Harry Potter fan fiction. I would just ask the Lord to convict you against it if it's not glorifying Him. Ask God to guide you to books that please Him but still interest/entertain you. God will guide you. God Bless you too! I've tried watching tarot cards before and the effect wasn't really good at all. Perhaps I was just in despair of love that's why I was tempted to watch it during pandemic, but I do regret a lot watching those kind of videos here on youtube. I was mentally disturb when I watched it but I kept on praying the Rosary & thank God and Mother Mary they helped me get rid of it. 😊

I would need more context. There is nothing wrong with having a crush. But I would just be careful not to give your heart away to someone based on daydreams about them. I often would give my heart away without really evaluating the person I was giving it to first. I would recommend praying about it and asking God to guide you. I will put this on my list of topics to talk about in a video.

Thats a very astute observation right there.
And then what happens if they're in an environment where a similar set of parameters that are Harry Potter-esq in shape but have a much more direct engagement in promoting the use of witchcraft? They'll be confused as to why thats wrong. Just keep them away from it to begin with is my advice - as you say LGA -theres far better things for them to be interested in or playing with.
