Reimagining police means exactly that. We need to provide more community services like housing and mental health support and have more professionals trained in conflict de-escalation. We do not need paramilitary police response
First make the community safe. Change the communities view of the police by involving them in the process of making the community safe. Help to improve the look of the community so people have a sense of pride. Improve the schools and help them stay safe.
