it might be a bass line but the instrument is a Semi acoustic guitar lowered a octave using a Whammy Pedal

I found out how to do the riff on the Cello after messing around with both a guitar and cello for a minute last week.

Songs like rain, wake me up, and counting stars have a lot more parts going on than this song. This song only has four parts going on at one time. Doesn’t get much simpler than that.
