Handy guide! Helped me get my first TI win in a 6 player 10 point game. Defensive path, with lots PDS2 placed in and around my home system and a tech related stage 2 victory condition. Managed to get a round 2 Mechatol point via gravity drive as a nice bonus.

Hi. How is it that having 5 influence you pay 6 in mecatol rex?
I don't remember the specifics in this video. But yes you need 6 influence to land on Mecatol. Maybe I had a Trade good as well? :)

What is this virtual game board that you are using? Would be extremely helpful to test out game play.
Im using tabletop simulator through Steam. In the workshop area in Steam, you can download/subscribe to Twilight Imperium. It works great
