I one time heard Chris refer to their early stuff as "Dreamo" I think that really fits for this and Mookies. Awesome seeing these rare demos up, I have them on my computer as well, some of the best Saosin!
translating the name was very dreamy too. i'm learning it's all about using something other than straight power chords. the mood of the chords make it dreamy, especially ones that favor minor key. if it's 2 dancing lead guitars and a melodic bass, that has a similar effect too.

but then most productions use straight power chords cuz it's less "muddy" and better for the mix -_-
