While the Department of Justice is actively investigating the Fulton County, Georgia, jail over its conditions and treatment of inmates, more inmates are dying. Ten dead inmates so far this year. One of the latest inmates, Samuel Lawrence, died days after he filed a handwritten prisoner civil rights complaint about the conditions and abuse by the guards. We'll talk to the Lawrence family attorney about what the independent autopsy revealed.

County jails are managed completely different than state managed prisons. The DOJ needs to roll up in there unannounced and go through it top to bottom to see whats really going on.

It’s really ashame that the majority of call centers in the South pay workers low wages. That is why the majority of college graduates in the South leave the state. That’s why although I live in the South, I work remotely. It’s just terrible some sort of investigation needs to be done!

We only know of 10, but how many before that fell from the waist side. Each shift should be submitting Notes and Warden should be overseeing and signing off. Corrections officers work in teams, all are accountable if they see and not say anything.

Sometimes with a union, representatives can get you 2 or 4 percent. Then 2 or 3 months union dues go up. I'm just speaking on my own past experience. People in numbers are so powerful, always supply and demand. Medicare Enrollment, etc is much needed. Downside is getting more hourly, thus hours are cut, less than 30 hours, no benefits. They expect you to increase volume and if you can't then you are replaced. Sly, that's how they have been getting over for decades. They send these customer service jobs to states other countries and pay them below minimum wage.

Been in FCJ...it's been like this since I was there in 2001.. .inmates run every floor in there and don't get commissary they jumping you for it all and make sure u go to Grady I seen it first hand....it should of been shutdown 20yrs ago

There is no other way to hurt these corporations running our country other than to slow down or stop their profits.
