It's so green in Montana this year with all the rain we have been getting. Mother north of Billings has 5' wild yellow mustard and garlic mustard, growing in her ditches, it's amazing how tall every weed and grass is and how green it all is. Gardner is so green too. I love Stan's channel, he hikes some rough in elevation trails. His camera work is pretty good also. thanks for sharing, Stan your the man!!!
I dig the fact that you don't feel the need to hear your own voice or be on camera to much. It's just perfect. I live in Rigby and we have covered a lot of the same country on the west side of the park. Your posts keep me going through the winter. Thank you.
I just stumbled upon your channel but was quickly amazed at how you keep your mouth shut, walk softly and see more wildlife than most other vloggers do. Good job young'un!
Thanks for the map overview at the beginning with distance and elevation changes. Also for the shots in each of the four directions at the top. Very informative.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. I doubt at this point in my life that I'll ever see that country. You're making that possible. Love it thanks again
Oh my goodness! Your channel just came up in my recommendations, and I am ecstatic that it did! Thank you SO much for the QUIET savoring of such simple, compelling beauty, and for sharing your formidable photographic & cinematic gifts!💐💐💐💐💐 I’m subscribing!
What a nice hike seeing the burnt trees, and all the wildlife. Steep up to the top great to see the ridge and love to see those Bear's. Beautiful wildflowers. Thank you Stan. Great job.
Really enjoy your videos , you live in a great area for wildlife and scenic views. Sure is different then the flat landscape of Florida and it's local wildlife.
Chuck Littleton ...maybe good to add that YNP Region has 4 distinct seasons with annually Snow-Capped, Lofty Mountain Wilderness & not overcrowded most of the year!
Stan... your videos are very well done, and inspiring, to say the least! My wife and I are especially interested in the quality of the long distance video you have of grizzlies. Can you tell us what camera and sense you are using in these?
_camdenc_ ..FYI! This hike is in the far Northwest corner of Yellowstone! Obviously by your comments you just said east, meaning west! I am not speaking for Stan!
I am just using Google Earth and doing a screen recording. I take the track that was recorded on my GPS and copy it into Google Earth and that is what you see on my video. Thank you for your comments.
great video very refreshing to watch, wow them beetles kill a lot of pines out there is it true they came from Central America or is that from fire ???
The sign said no hunting, but it needs to be a bit more descriptive, looks to me like you're hunting and shooting everything you see with your camera. 😁👍😊 HAHA
Enjoyed you video, but you need to take care about the trousers and boots you wear. All the rubbing together they did made it possible for wildlife to hear you coming a mile away. Tell the photographer that is with you he or she did a great job.
I really enjoy you taking us on your hikes, you’re doing what most of us daydream about. Thanks

Just outstanding video, I’m 69 and disabled. Thank you much for doing what I no longer can do, be safe, well and cool. Just beautiful.

I loved every minute, it's all so beautiful, the woodpecker, flowers, mountain goats, everything. I'm so envious of this, I hope to go some day💚

Love it, the sound of nature is all what it takes for me.
Thank you sir for your nice videos.
8:40 Oh My Goodness!!!! Beautiful view
and no matter how many times I see Mt Goats, they always amaze me
Thank you for your wonderful videos. I doubt at this point in my life that I'll ever see that country. You're making that possible. Love it thanks again
Fine day of hiking. Lots of wildlife to see. If this was recent lots of wildflowers still and snow. Seems like you saw it all.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice trail, a lot of elk back into the area. That's good.
Another beautiful day. Thank you for sharing.

Mountain Goats totally amaze me. How do they do what they do, and survive on those rocky ledges. Truly amazing animals.

beautiful all around! The wildlife, the flowers, the views....
Truly a great video and of a part of the country few of us get to see in that detail. Thanks for showing us the area.
Absolutely Breathtaking. Awesome footage , thanks for sharing.
Love your videos! Close to the sights and sounds of nature. Perfect.
Very cool video! Thanks for sharing this with us! 👍👍😎
First time viewer. I was planning to hike Glacier Natl Park again this year but this video is making me rethink things. Excellent video work.
Very nice.
Thanks Stan

Love the effort in putting in quality cinematography for each hike. Have you ever done any hikes or bear scouting around Tom Miner Basin?

Great video! Could you please share some possible camping info? Thanks!
An Amazing hike!
I have never been on that road in the east area of the park because I hang around Lamar and mammoth. What map do you use it’s really cool.

what equipment are you using
Beautiful! The footing going down the hill towards the end looked (and sounded) pretty treacherous. Glad you made it back safe and sound.✌🏼
Fun to see the woodpecker signaling on the snag. That behavior is not digging for grubs, it is "signaling." Fun Fact!
Thank you very much for your comment. I was wondering why it would be looking for bugs up there. You answered my question. Thanks again.
Sir, do you carry any type of bear repellent or deterrent?
didgeridoo playing in the mountains be cool the sound travels far 🐻 bear be like wot tah animal 🤷♂️
5:15- Time for a new pair of pants
I wached most of your videos and loved them! Do you carry firearms?
Great job Stan! You have great trail skills. When was that fire? I was there June 2018 I don't remember it.
Lots of wildlife though.
Thanks
great video very refreshing to watch, wow them beetles kill a lot of pines out there is it true they came from Central America or is that from fire ???
What camera are you using in this particular video? Thanks!
Do you carry bear spray with you?
Are trails clearly marked so that beginners can follow
Yes, at least for the first 3 miles. But most people don't go further than that and they will start to fizzle out.
Are those gators you wear just for brush or are they snake gators?
cool!

WOW

Great work as always, Stan. What camera are you using?
Stephen, I use a Canon SX70.
Mmmmm . Mmmmm Good!
Is this trail named after the Native American Chief Bacon Rind?
a lot of those dead tree areas look like underground seepage of gases. vegetation die off
It is from a fire 3 years ago.
