This is the best all-around bike I've ever tested. Riding it in the corners is the most exhilarating experience I've had one a bike. The thing is just savage
The 1200 Monsters really wake up after you put a power commander on them, totally recommend one for the 1100 you're building. My Ducati also has the termignoni exhaust, they sound insane!
To me big bikes have torque, and that's where it's at. Little bursts of acceleration is more exciting than redlining something and hitting really dangerous speeds.
Hey Chase, I love the firstride series! But could you please add some basic information about the bike like horsepower, torque, weight etc. to the videodescription? Keep up the good work 😋
great editing Chase I like the follow Drone footage in the beginning as always a quality video. one of my favorite first rides because I also own a 2016 monster R in Black
Here is a suggestion for future first rides.. For viewers who are looking for used older bikes 2006-2008 Yamaha R1 2006-2007 Suzuki GSXR 600/750 2007-2012 Honda CBR 600RR 2007-2008 Kawasaki ZX6R If you are interested in doing Cruiser First Rides 2016/2017 Indian Scout 2016/2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 900
That's what many people don't get. You get what you pay for. Sure you can get a cheap Asian bike which might be even quicker, but they are soulless. I love my Ducati.
Yammie noob said it best about the fz 09 is just cheap horsepower is a hooligans bike. You cant even compare the fz 09 to this put this up against the ktm 1290 superduke.
Probably the best naked bike I've looked at before going with a Panigale. For what you pay you do get everything you could want. Just gotta get over the sticker shock and bite the bullet when buying it.
Been getting into the Monster line a lot of more recently, even before your build series... This video REALLY piqued my interest on it... And then I saw the price.
2 things: 1. When you turn the engine on for the first time in the video, do not talk. The audience wants to hear the ignition. 2. Within the video, include at least a minute or 2 where theres no talking. Shift gears, no talk. Hope this reaches you :)
Gabriel Hamilton no please for the love of god don't...buy a 250 or if you insist on getting a big bike 600 is the way to go....you just dont START RIDING on a 1200cc bike and its freaking heavy aswell..
I have an 821 from Mountain Motorsports. The exhaust heat isn't that bad if you wear jeans / leathers. Even in the summer it's noticeable, but not of that much concern.
I strongly belive in "smoother is faster" phrase, so no snachy throttles for me. Progressive throttle just give you more control in my opinion, so i think Ducati did the right thing with fuelling and throttle mapping
The weight of these bikes scare the crap out of me, will still love to try one out some day when I feel experienced enough, I've only been riding about four months on a 125 lol
dude, my dream bike. this actually funny for me because in my computer math class we were doing a project where we had to pick three dream vehicles and this is one of them. it's cool that I'm able to get a professional opinion on how the bike handles before I buy it.
Beautiful machine, the worst part about Italian bikes is that they work flawlessly until the very next day your warranty expires. but if you have the budget the replace one every 2 years or so then by all means get one. best thrill you will ever get on 2 wheels
Hey chase, the link to your intro song didn't match up with the one in this video. I looked up the song as well and it didn't match either. Is it rootkit? Great review, keep up the good work mate.
If I didn't already own a 😍 Monster, this would be next whip. OTD it's almost 23k. Quality is on point as always Chase. 👍🏽 #brembofordays #olinsfordays Stock exhaust sounds amazing @.@. Oh yeah, I like the Session pov better on the mirror.
Another excellent video! Anyone wondering about the song for the cinematic shots of the bike it's: PYLOT - Locke. The link in the description is a bit off.
This is the best all-around bike I've ever tested. Riding it in the corners is the most exhilarating experience I've had one a bike. The thing is just savage
Got my 2016 Monster 1200R beginning of January, came with Termi exhaust, did a few mods. Not a single regret.
Miss my Monster 1100EVO. Sold it and bought a 899 Panigale and Harley Sportster 48. I've ridden the 1200R as well and it's an absolute beast.
The 1200 Monsters really wake up after you put a power commander on them, totally recommend one for the 1100 you're building. My Ducati also has the termignoni exhaust, they sound insane!
Markus Mikkola or just do an ECU flash :)
Markus Mikkola watch the video by jake thegardensnake. he shows a fancy product thats better than power commander.
Termis with the duc ecu
This is by far the best naked bike... And what an amazing review... Keep up the good job
To me big bikes have torque, and that's where it's at. Little bursts of acceleration is more exciting than redlining something and hitting really dangerous speeds.
Dude, these cinematic intros are awesome. Well done!
Hey Chase, I love the firstride series! But could you please add some basic information about the bike like horsepower, torque, weight etc. to the videodescription?
Keep up the good work 😋
+Rimo that's a good idea man. I'll work on that.
and add metric system too plz
One Google search and you have your answer. Why does everyone else have to do work for you, when it takes no effort to find the information yourself?
great editing Chase I like the follow Drone footage in the beginning as always a quality video. one of my favorite first rides because I also own a 2016 monster R in Black
Not a fan of Ducati, but I love the 80's music and the editing. Keep it up man!
very accurate review. Ive been riding mine for 1 year. Good job!
chase your cinematics are freaking flawless
Hi Chase from the Philippines! Congrats on 600k
Just bought a black one. You've ridden one more than me.. I've managed two miles at most! However that was enough to know that it's epic!
Here is a suggestion for future first rides..
For viewers who are looking for used older bikes
2006-2008 Yamaha R1
2006-2007 Suzuki GSXR 600/750
2007-2012 Honda CBR 600RR
2007-2008 Kawasaki ZX6R
If you are interested in doing Cruiser First Rides

2016/2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 900
Islandsoundzz 2009 zx6r !! They redesigned this year. It blew away the previous few years models. 2009. I own one
Islandsoundzz im still waiting for a faster bike than an ecu flashed and yoshis 2008 R1 almost 10yrs later.
Weapon
Seeing this makes me very excited to see what you will do with your monster build. Followin and supportin you the whole way! 🏍
Love my Ducati Monster 821!
Steve Parry great bike.
That's what many people don't get. You get what you pay for. Sure you can get a cheap Asian bike which might be even quicker, but they are soulless. I love my Ducati.
I agree, my 821 sounds better orginal then a Asain bike ever will
Lol @ “soulless” Unreliability with Italian engineering is unreal.
My RC51 has more character in it's radiators than any Ducati has as a whole.
@@vboytan I think what he meant by "soulless" was, "maintenance-free".
"Feels like the manufacturer did as much as they needed to and called it a day"
*cough cough FZ-09 cough cough*
Ben O naww not for 2017 tho.. and you can also buy two fz09 for the price of this ducati. Lol
I didn't know the FZ-09 was like that , i expected more from it
Gandalf m8 Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome bike. The stock suspension just isn't good.
Yammie noob said it best about the fz 09 is just cheap horsepower is a hooligans bike. You cant even compare the fz 09 to this put this up against the ktm 1290 superduke.
MannyFz07 Yeah for sure. It really is a bargain though, it's just got twitchy throttle response and weird suspension and weight balance.
Hey Chase just started to watch you videos. I'm quickly becoming a fan. Keep up the good work. Have you ever done a video for a Ducati Streetfighter?
Probably the best naked bike I've looked at before going with a Panigale. For what you pay you do get everything you could want. Just gotta get over the sticker shock and bite the bullet when buying it.
Been getting into the Monster line a lot of more recently, even before your build series... This video REALLY piqued my interest on it... And then I saw the price.
+InvictvsNox you probably know my feelings but to sum up...I agree.
Sold my zx12 and am saving up for a Monster. I think it's worth it.
I will get sold 5 times over before I am worth the money this bike costs
"Its like the Panigale screen; R.I.P" HAHA!!
Great in depth video Chase.
great video chase :) I love watching your vids. always very well done.
Bar end mirrors are a must, and exhaust too. I love mine!!!
2 things:
1. When you turn the engine on for the first time in the video, do not talk. The audience wants to hear the ignition.
2. Within the video, include at least a minute or 2 where theres no talking. Shift gears, no talk.
Hope this reaches you :)
lol when he says its like the pinagale screen then whispers RIP.
larry fanning yeah he wrecked an 1199s a few years ago
Can't wait to see the finished product of the 1100!
#WBRSupportStaff #C2WArmy
Great review Chase,I like that intro song..what's it called?
look at the description
Sweet, this is going to be my first bike. I'm picking it up this coming Friday
Gabriel Hamilton no please for the love of god don't...buy a 250 or if you insist on getting a big bike 600 is the way to go....you just dont START RIDING on a 1200cc bike and its freaking heavy aswell..
This channel is so good!
Thumbs up for that editing man ! Props
I have an 821 from Mountain Motorsports. The exhaust heat isn't that bad if you wear jeans / leathers. Even in the summer it's noticeable, but not of that much concern.
This is a big man bike. As a big man I need this bike
0:32 It's meant to say 110 degrees, for those wondering.
Nice to hear motovloggers finally moving on from dubstep to more current style of music.. :D Loving it!
ur loveling the ducati's huh? haha great video's man. I cant wait to see your wrecked monster getting rebuild. Keep it up. True insipration :D
Watched 4 of your vids today. And I’m already down to 2 choices... Monster or MT 09... I feel the monster is the safer option for me...
Thanks.
I strongly belive in "smoother is faster" phrase, so no snachy throttles for me. Progressive throttle just give you more control in my opinion, so i think Ducati did the right thing with fuelling and throttle mapping
the intro of the bike is awesome man..!
+Albert huang thanks man. I enjoyed making this one a lot.
***** dude i'm watching this video right now..😁😁
Btw, brake levers and shift levers are a quick zip of a combo wrench away from being where you want them.
such a beast!
new subs from Philippines bro!
cheers!
Chase am chasing all your Videos !
Ducati + music by PYLOT 😍 Beautiful video !
This is so crazy to watch because I live right by where you were on McFarland and Highway 9 😂😳
You should do the cinematic inside the building life before! It looked so good!! and the lighting was very good. keep it up!
+SMManuel [Professional Editor] I tend to prefer the lighting outside at the Roswell location.
All these Ducs,,, gotta love the nakeds! great review!
Still waiting for that thruxton r
Chase you and yummi are great y'all inspire me to be a RUclipsr any suggestions?
I really liked the edit at the start of this video. I think it was the tune.
Best Intro imo!!
YAASSSS!! I've veen qsking for this one for SOOOO long!!!!

I'm looking at a 1200S will be my next bike
Nice review of this beast...
I have the 1200S and love it.
love the video... but dude when are you gonna replace those gloves??? 😂😂
The weight of these bikes scare the crap out of me, will still love to try one out some day when I feel experienced enough, I've only been riding about four months on a 125 lol
Love the 80's style power montage music
hi man i liked the video!
awesome video, i really think im going to get a ducati, either this one or a hyper motard
All Out Anthony do it. You will love it.
very tempted. just very expensive. gonna look into it more
yeah they are very expensive but they are unique. You don't see them very often
That intro song tho... I've been digging the retro electroinc stuff recently. that touches me just so... nnnngh.
dude, my dream bike. this actually funny for me because in my computer math class we were doing a project where we had to pick three dream vehicles and this is one of them. it's cool that I'm able to get a professional opinion on how the bike handles before I buy it.

dave kahn guess my dads monster 1000 from -03 must have one hell of a long warranty then ;)
Was that floating high shot at the start done by the drone? That was such a surprise, but well done.
Nice review! I am 6foot5 and a beginner. Would u recommend this bike or do you think it is too small and too suicidal? Thanks!
Hey chase, the link to your intro song didn't match up with the one in this video. I looked up the song as well and it didn't match either. Is it rootkit? Great review, keep up the good work mate.
Just got it fixed. Thanks for the heads up man!
chaseontwowheels, hey buddy the song is correct in the description, but the link goes to a different song by Pylot. Just trying to look out for ya.
you should have tried the Breaks man you can hover the rear wheel with abs on at 15 mph like 3 feet of the ground real easy :)
Diggin the Hotline Miami music man!
Intro music reminded me of the movie "Drive" in the best way
I like that intro song
Chase, great choice in music for this video. Who is it and what's the name of the song? If you don't mind my asking.
plz do a review on the Ducati 959 panigali
nice review chase. any chance of the new cbr 1000rr fireblade?
Chase. Awesome video would love to see a #C2WFR on the 2016/17 Suzuki sv650. It's like the poor mans monster !!
Hi! I'm pretty sure you won't see this but I love your videos!!!! I'm from India, by the way.
+Aryan Sahu never assume my friend.
We.
You're production standards are very high - 3min 3s in - nice man.
So the Monster 1200R literally is a monster!
I'm surprised they didn't put the steering damper down under the display (like on the tuono), seems like it's really in the way where it is.
+CLUTCH1st thanks man. It's always interesting trying to mount that little guy on every bike.
damn son DAT INTRO MUSIC!
Lol, snowcat probably disliked the video. Pretty good video!
the only thing that kills the look is the exhaust but other wide the bike looks beautiful
Another excellent video! Anyone wondering about the song for the cinematic shots of the bike it's: PYLOT - Locke. The link in the description is a bit off.
The music reminds me of the parts of the theme song to "AirWolf" 80's tv show
God jop with the video. Thank's man
This video made me buy my 2016 1200R.
Do you still have the Monster?
what a beautiful machine.
The intro song tho! Wow.
Hey chase now that you've also ridden the superduke, which bike do you think you would pick between the two?
Thats just a 2- screw adjustment on the Hypermotard, mine was pointed down also
Chaseontwowheels How do you get those glide shots of the motorcycles, or what do you use?
flickability! dude... there we go!
Didnt watch the vid, but did it make back to the dealer without losing a handful of screws and the usual loose bits?
I like that over heat shot.
Riding With Jahv me too
Hw'd u get that aerial shot? Thought yr gona hv a quad drone to follow u throughout the video. Awsm if u could do that :D
Hey chase would you pick triumph speed triple r or the monster 1200 r?
YES! FINALLY!
dream bike!
