You’re amazing
I LOVE YOU THANKS
saved my life tysm !!
than youu :)
Steph is that friend we all wish we had
you literally post at the right time like my day just got a whole lot better and my tbr a lot lot longer lol
I am so invested in the guy next door ( AKA joe)😭
I don’t think normal people is a romance. the ending made me so happy, I was super proud of him for working so hard and making it.I think that if you go in expecting a romance it’ll be disappointing, but if you see it as a book about young people dealing with life and getting through it’s beautiful.
The book that left me puzzled for days after was VERITY!! It’s been a while since I’ve read it and i still am mind blown with the ending😮💨
SPOILER ALERT 4 VERITY!! IK I can't decide if Verity was telling the truth with the letter or she was manipulating them once again
STEPH!!! HOW DO YOU REMEMBER ALL THAT PLOT?? like i can't even remember a book that i read after reading 2 other books. that's just amazing!
I couldn't even tell you how much this series left me in PAIN. The ravenhood series by Kate Stewart will tear u apart.
But such a beautiful pain it is 😭
i just finished flock today and i’m starting to ready exodus right now 😩
i looove the ”brother/exboyfriends enemy/rival” trope but i feel like no one talks about it. like her brother plays football and the love interest is the brothers rival from another school.
recs?
All saints high series
@@morena07 not necessarily brother but the risk in the briar u series
OH MY GOD YES, I love Textrovert for this
@@vannahughens WAIT ISNT THIS THAT WATTPAD BOOK. HOLY I READ IT A LONG TIME AGO. AAA YESYES THIS SLIPPED MY MIND
I finished "all Rhodes lead here" today and I simply CANNOT get over it!!!! my life is shaken after this book and I'm simply in love with Rhodes
Here are some VERY emotional book recs, since u asked Steph:
- Hard Time by Cara McKenna
- Steadfast by Sarina Bowen
- Stinger by Mia Sheridan
- Forever Right Now by Emma Scott
- Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott (since you liked A Thousand Boy kisses and Bright Side)
- Ghosted by J.M Darhower
- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (can't think of an adult romance quite like it, but it's beautiful and really worth checking out)
- The Shrink by Sophia Karlson
10:40 i agree with The seven husband of evelyn hugo, but the book that made me feel the emptiest afterwards was The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue it’s my favourite book ever
i find sm comfort in watching ur book vids
What left me staring at my wall after reading was “ecstasy” by K.V. Rose, “why are you here?” By Brianna Jean, “Dear Ava” by Ilsa madden mills and “the last letter” by Rebecca Yarros I literally sat there like what did I just read, emotions were all over the place with each of these books for different reasons. (Honorable mention to “Just like heaven” by Trilina Pucci resent read was also sooo good)
Ughh the last letter!! I still think about it like five months later. So didn’t expect the ending!!
@charlotte Boyd the last 10% made me sob like a baby such a heartbreaking book. It pieced us back together cause the whole book was sad to right at the end rip us apart again.
i tried to read ecstacy but couldn’t get into it😭 is the ending worth it?
@vanessatiyera yess the ending of ecstasy is so worth it! At first we hate all the characters or most of them but by the end we see their development cause everyone is not what they seem. and the ending was 🤯 didn’t see that coming at all.
Verity:
another sweet romance book with the good girl/good boy trope is 'twice shy' by sarah hogle! really sweet and wholesome, drama-free (for my personal liking too drama-free but nevertheless really enjoyable!) it's definitely a comfort book!
Sally Rooney is one of my fav writers ever. Her books could be categorized as romance but they touch many more aspects of life and show very realistic situations that make me feel so in sync with the story and the characters. She also has a really beautiful way of writing and describing things. It breaks my heart everytime a re-read or re-watch Normal People buy it also makes me so strangely calm and happy at the same time...
I just really didn’t like normal people. The description of the characters is lacking in detail and the storyline slacks when at some point it’s just two young adults repetitively hurting eachother, I can see it all coming and at it’s just very faint.
@@tonimsp9161 For me I think it's more about the emotion and how it makes me feel while reading it but I completely understand her books are not for everybody!
@@claudiapthr Yes I understand, for me I sadly had a lack of connection towards this book , so my reading experience sadly couldn’t make up for it!I am happy to hear though that it makes some readers feel a certain level of comfort.Just as you said it’s not for everybody, but I am looking forward to try another one of salley Rooney’s books in the future!
You deserve each other is such a heartwarming book, it's like us against the world only if we could fix our communication skills 🥺
Boyfriend material by Alexis Hall is one of the best books out there
It has got fake dating trope, one bed trope and if you loved red, white and royal blue...this one has similar vibes. And the relationship is soo adorable omg.
Not really “romance” but when I finished Kingdom of Ash (the last Throne of Glass book) I literally sat on my bed and sobbed for 30 minutes because I just could not move on. I also had this feeling after finishing The Problem with Forever by JLA literally today lol
If you haven't read sara j. Maas's other series a court of thorns and roses you should ASAP! I'm about to start the last book and I feel like that's what will happen to me 😢
@@tanyam1425 theres no last book yet! silver flames is number 4, theres going to be 6 total
@@amelie5463 I saw something about that on goodreads but wasn't sure if there would really be more. That makes me so happy!
@@tanyam1425SPOILERS: I felt like this after ACOWAR too, because I felt like I was saying goodbye to Rhys and Feyra. I REALLY hope that in the next books we see more of them if Rhys does want to go for High King
a book that left me stairing at the ceiling is "history is all you left me" by adam silver but literally in the first chapter I was sobbing and contemplating life NEED TO READ
you should definitely do a part 2, these are my fav vids to watch
For a sad marriage book like “all your perfects” I would recommend “after I do” by taylor jenkins Reid
'My Dark Vanessa' left me staring the the wall for hours after finishing it
I love her videos so much she convinces me to actually read the books on my shelf because I keep checking out books from library LMFAOO
Daughter of the pirate king has the one bed trope and I absolute loved it!!
here's a very specific trope: books that have characters like connor cobalt 😭
yes please
yes need them!!
i’ve been needing some to book recs, thank god u posted
Literally I was searching for thissss
I'm literally travelling with my bestie tomorrow. We are staying in a hotel... on an island, and taking The Summer of Broken Rules to read together. I'm so excited
How exciting!!!!
I was so glad you put It Ends With Us in the staring at the ceiling trope because IT DESERVES IT. I finished it yesterday and I couldn’t decide how I felt…..
I hope someone sees this lool, but I have always wanted to read a book about two actors play the love interest in a movie/tv show…but they aren’t interested in each other in real life…or are they? 👀 somehow they’re able to carry out such intimate scenes with so much chemistry, reality and fiction start to blur for them…what is real..what isn’t? This is very specific, isn’t it 😭😂😩
Omg yesss
This sounds like a korean movie called 'Method'
Mannnn I loved to read a book like that. What a nice description.
I'd love that
Steph is someone you would see in a library and never forget
She looks like she came out of a book ✨perfect✨
For the boss and employee trope, I also recommend “A risk on forever” by N.S. Perkins. Sooo good!!!
bro we're like the same person with the really emotional book recs like: it ends with us, the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, and daisy jones & the six. those are my absolute FAVORITE books ever
Taylor Jenkins Reid’s other romance books are also 10/10! I see everyone reading Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones, but her romances are just as beautiful and deserve so much love! The plots are so unique and well thought out!!
oooh which other ones do you recommend?
@@harmonyshort I'd recommend 'maybe in another life'. It follows the life of Hannah who goes to a party where her highschool boyfriend asks her to go home with her. From then the book follows two storylines: one where she says yes and one where she says no. You see how different her life turns out based on that one decision. The relationship between Hannah and her best friend Gabby is so touching in this book and the whole is written so well and this concept is very unique. It has everything: romance, friendship, family. 10/10!!
@@harmonyshort I will never stop recommending One True Loves. It’s about a woman named Emma who’s husband (Jesse) goes missing, and he’s presumed dead. Years later she ends up moving home and falls in love with her childhood friend Sam. Emma and Sam are set to be married, but then Jesse ends up being found and comes back into Emma’s life. Emma then has to choose between Jesse who she spent years loving, and the man who she now loves. She has to figure out what love means to her and what it’s like to fall back in love after something so traumatizing happens.
@@harmonyshort The other one I loved was After I Do. It’s about a couple who was madly in love for 10 years, but suddenly feel like they’ve fallen out of love. They decide to take a year long break with no contact, and at the end of the year they have to decide whether or not they can live without one another/if they’re still in love.
@@mayaramdin thank u! i’ll add it to my tbr ☺️
norma people is the all too well verse “you kept me like a secret but i kept you like an oath”
i know you're waiting to read six of crows until after you've read the grisha trilogy but 14:10 made me think of a quote that i just HAVE to share!!

"i can hear the change in kaz's breathing when he looks at you"
"yo-you can?"
"it catches every time, like he's never seen you before"
GODD I LOVEEE KANEJ
the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is soooo good, the way Taylor Jenkins Reid brings Evelyn's story to life is insane and it made me grab my chest so many times
I want a book where the girl is really serious and the boy is kind of quirky. I mean its rare I haven't read anything like this ❤️
Try Anti Heroes in love duet by giana darling
counting down with you by tashie bhuiyan fits this vibe !!!
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston had me in a chokehold, I was so emotional the end. Exactly the feeling you described, like I couldn't move on.
Ok since we're going to touch on the books that left us thinking for days. WE WERE LIARS!! This book had me up all night, btw im also a very emotional person, but this book had me thinking alot because there is alot im STILL curious about. I cried for like an hour afterwards because I got SO emotionally attached to the characters it was insane.
bestie I manifested this video literally was just stalking you on TikTok and for some reason I opened you tube instead of instagram and you posted...im so happy it happened 💗💗💗
I think Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins is a good example of "I'm in a relationship so we can't be together... yet"
I just finished to read 'Ugly love' today, and I was literally staring at my ceiling and contemplating life. I definitely won't be able to move on for a few days
omg same i finished it yesterday colleen hoover is really good at just breaking your heart
@@neschuaayari83 No cap
Watching you talk about books you love is truly so soothing.. forget comfort food, this is my comfort!!!
not me dropping everything & watching this @ work
OH I love your new glasses!!
Can you do one where the girl is overlooked but the guy talks to her and finds her really charming, so then he’s crushing on her? Even better if the girl is only overlooked because her best friend is super beautiful.
Steph resets my life I love you Steph
I feel like since you enjoyed Archer's Voice and, Most of All You - you'll love Mire Than Words and Stinger (both by Mia Sheridan) they're both absolutely incredible and very deep and meaningful 🥰❤ 🙏🏻
I recently read We Were Liars and a lot of people have read it, talked about it, its very popular. It is YA but it is so beautiful. This was the first book I full on sobbed about. I love your videos and your aesthetic is all I want in life. ❤❤
I know you’re so slammed with school but thanks so so much for the video Steph!! Missed your videos.
So we can all agree that steph is not only the best booktuber but also the most comforting one
Wow, I like when she always recommending her fav book. Wow, Steph your video is so cool.
A book (series) that leaves the BIGGEST hangover, contemplating everything....The Ravenhood series. Book 1 leaves you confused, book 2 leaves you gutted, ugly crying (the only book to every make me cry...and it was UGLY crying), and book 3 brings everything back together and heals you. SOOOO good. Struggling to move on at the moment.
i think the most accurate ‘ i hate everyone but you’ is definitely aaron warner from shatter me. he literally only talks to nobody except juliette and he says it all the time
the flatshare by Beth O'Leary also falls into the "I’m in a relationship so we can’t be together… yet" trope and it's an *amazing* book, can't recommend it enough!
And the one bed trope
Ohh myy! Flatshare leon is my favorite fictional man.
Let’s just accept steph is our comfort person
The book that broke me was The Way I used to be by Amber Smith. I literally sobbed, I recommend it to everyone but definitely look up TW before reading.
Along with the pregnancy trope: The Goal, the last book in the Off-Campus series.
the only book where I didn't completely disliked it haha
Omgggg i love to see you talk about books. Ican rewatch it all dayyyy💖
Your hair and this outfit is >>>
Hearing you mention Bright Side a lot makes me happy, it's practically my all time favorite book. A life-altering book that definitely gave me such a book hangover. I finished it a few years ago the first time and had a pile of tissues around me and walked around in a haze the whole day. Other books that had me staring at the ceiling like you said are Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher, Making Faces by Amy Harmon, basically all Colleen Hoover books, Full Tilt, God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo, Swear on This Life by Renee Carlino.
Books that fit the girl hates everyone trope: definitely Tarryn Fisher books, especially Mud Vein & Atheists Who Kneel and Pray, also Lost and Found by Nicole Williams.
Thank you so much for recommending ''Full Tilt'' in a previous video! I read the duology after watching your video and I loved it so much! It's exactly as you said - the first one broke me (I sobbed like a baby), and the second one mended my broken heart in the most beautiful way.❤️
You need to read Stay With Me by Nicole Fiorina, it’s an emotional book because both characters have gone through so much but it’s also interesting because it’s set in a reformatory school (also she feels too little, he feels too much)
o , Ollie and Mia. it's a must read book
My anxiety literally goes away when steph posts
Steph, I was having a hard day today and when I got the notification that you posted I instantly smiled. You're literally my comfort youtube I love you so much! I need a part 2 rn
this video popped up on my recommendation, and let me just tell u girl, UR SO BEAUTIFUL 😭🌹
I MISSED UR BOOK RECS VIDEOS SM
your hair makes me soooo happy oh my gosh

for more of the PAINFUL reads that leave you staring at the ceiling... A Little Life By Hanya Yanagihara. Favourite book and absolutely heart breaking. look at TWs before reading !!!!
All The Bright Places left me crying for 3 days, I can't move on from that book it's so good
Steph i NEED you to read the shatter me series!! believe me when i tell u you’re going to love it! its my favorite series so far and the last book comes out in 5 days its soooo good please IM BEGGING
She did
@@fluffee_gacha1886 REALLY??? i mean i knew she had it on her tr list but idk if she read it. i really hope she did they are amazing
i dont know if you'll see this but i want recs for hidden romance. not necessarily taboo or forbidden or socially unacceptable. definitely no cheating. office romance, a best friend's ex, upstairs downstairs, even better if there's a supernatural element to it!
I’m kinda new to your channel but I literally love watching your videos, it’s like sitting in a room with my best friend talking about books! I bought a whole stack of books based on what you recommended in your other videos 💕
i read most all of you about a month ago but i still cant get over how sweet gabriel is. he is the sweetest
Wow . You look so pretty today. The outfit and glasses gave me dark academia vibe.
'Asking For It' by Lilah Pace
yay another book rec !! your videos make my day so ily for that 🥺🤍

If you liked Tryst Six Venom - I'd recommend checking out these books:
(All Sapphic)
- Treasure by Rebekah Weatherspoon
- Soft on Soft by Mina Waheed
- The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar
Any day with steph is a good day 🥰 you should make a Christmas book recs vid!❄️🎄
I love the cape too! Wish I live there❤
I read "all your perfects" by coho and i fully ugly sobbed for the last half of the book and that's not an exaggeration. That book BROKE me i couldnt pick up another book for a full 3 weeks. It literally took me days to shake the hurt from that one. 10/10
can we all agree she is way to underrated…
read ‘if he had been with me’ literally left me speechless
We were liars by E.Lockhart had me crying my eyes out and staring at the roof for an hour! Amazing recs Steph
the light we lost by jill santopolo made me stare at my ceiling contemplating existence. SO GOOD. i never hear anyone talk about it!
10:11 the spanish love deceptionnnn 💗
11:28 it has been MONTHS since I've finished this and read many other books AND i STILL haven't gotten over this one istg! just read it guys
A great marriage in peril book is Tara Sivec’s “Fisher’s Light”. High school sweethearts get married, but end up breaking up due to the husband’s PTSD (he was in the army). It’s second chance romance with an HEA. Makes my heart clench every time I read it
steph always comes through with the book recs
ion know if yall want any books recs but ‘one of us is lying’ is sooo good. theres a little romance between 2/4 of the main characters. its like a thriller/mystery book and the plot twist is incredible
you are the one person I trust with all your book recs! everything you recommend i always add to my tbr! xx
I’m so happy you posted you literally make my day better!
always love your book recs!! 🤍
