Thank you so much for asking about accessibility. You are so good at interview and meeting people. Your filming is top notch. I do enjoy your walks outside NYC. The best travel channel ever. The scary gondola ride was epic!
18:30 A few corrections, folks: This is the Athens Concert Hall (Megaro Mousikis - Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνων); the equivalent of Carnegie Hall in NYC. Nb: This is not an opera house, but rather a complex of concert and recital halls. Additionally, there is indeed an opera ‘house’ in Athens, "Ethniki Lyriki Skini" (Greek Opera, Theatre & Ballet Company), and it has its own complex, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre in Kallithea (an Athenian suburb).
Correct! And I want to take this opportunity to point out that it's a shame the National Art Gallery (an old establishment only recently enlarged and totally redesigned and renovated) which sits just next to Hilton and the camera even got it, was not mentioned by Evan! :) Maybe next time! :)
Well, Evan is really good! Having lived in Greece for years myself and having studied modern Greek history, I can assure you that he is really good and I have heard monstrous... inaccuracies from so-called tour guides. He is also a wonderful storyteller.
30 years ago I used to subscribe to a Greek architectural periodical called Tefkos (i think?) it identified the modern vernacular in Greece. Is it still available? love from Australia
Well Evan doesn't act like Greek if you say yia mas with coffee and water then you will say yia mas all day long. Definitely you don't say yia mas with coffee just the same way as you don't say cheers and touching glasses with tea or coffee in England
Don't listen to him, it's not as bad as it makes it sound like. If you are not involved with football gangs and you are not provoking there is no danger
΅This guy is a bit behind concerning footbal. The last 5-10 years there is a ban of fans going to opponent stadiums and exhausting fines for the teams, so this hooliganism inside the stadiums rarely happens nowadays. You can go to modern stadiums of AEK or Olympiakos or OAKA and experience intense game, some pyro show, but overal feel safe
Thank you so much! My father was born in Greece! 2:23

Loved watching this. You both have so much information to share; so much knowledge. Thanks so much. 👍🏻
Absolutely 100% awesome journey! Enjoyed it immensely! Thanks!

Μετά από 53 χρόνια Παναθηναϊκός, έφτασε η ώρα να μάθω γιατί το γήπεδο μπάσκετ έχει το προσωνύμιο 'ο τάφος του Ινδού'! Just wow!

You are positively giddy collabing with your friend 👍 I guessed 1000 years old for the Olive tree 🫒🌳🫒
I’m excited for him to take Urbanists on real life adventures on the upcoming tours!
Πολύ ωραία ξενάγηση , αλλά για όσους δυσκολεύονται με την αγγλική γλώσσα , θά ηταν πολύ καλό , νά υπήρχαν υποτιτλοι !

Walter Gropius was Chair of the Department of Architecture at Harvard's Graduate School of Design from 1937 - 1952. My alma mater.
Athens Hilton was opened around 1963
Looks like NYC outer boroughs
Checkout the Malaka parking in the first 30 seconds 😂
