There's also the Disney bible that all animators read called The Illusion of Life and also Before Ever After. Great insight into animation and how Disney also pushed so many boundaries.

Ill need to teach myself everything about character animation. As my college I got accepted in only covers the basic works of animation programs (Both 2D and 3D). So I can do moving logos and add effects using adobe after effects. Its a rather broad 4 years of learning all kinds of cool stuff. So I dont mind having to learn the tricky craft of character animation.
But yea because I need to teach this to myself, I can use every little helping hand like professionals on here that lovingly teach the ways of character animation. And ofcourse books.
Why im not going to a college which will teach character animation? Well, simply put.. my brain is lazy. It sucks at taking in and properly understanding information. Focusing for too long will fry my brain leaving it unable to concentrate and take in anything until I sleep. Ill start to stutter and literally get distracted every second. Making it INSANELY hard to keep up with homework. And all the colleges that give these character animation courses seem to be too hard on my wee little brain. Got turned down many times... Once almost crushing every ounce of hope I had.
    Yet im still here.
Im just really thankfull for my positivity and hope. And the never ending support and hope of my family and friends. Without that I would have probably given up and slipped into depression. Animation is my everything.
ANYWAYS thanks for this! Imma find out the best books for me and order them. And Ill become a well respected and talented animator, bringing wonder and joy to the world

@@abrahemsamander3967 One of the very best animation manual I've ever read is from a director named Borijov Dovnicovic, I don't know if the book has an english translation but the purpose of this book is all about dealing with low budgets without compromising the final quality and it has some informations I never read in other books. The french title is something like " the technique of animation ". Very simple illustrations but a real gemme.

Madjid. Awesome! Will check out. Budget is a big thing, a big reason the quality of animation fails is cause of poor budget, so learning to deal with that would be a great skill. I can find a scan online maybe.

Hey dude! It was great to see you at the meet up! I seem to spend most of my time making animations and not reading about how to do it, but I treasure these books and here are some of the reasons.
      1- They look very impressive
2- They are fun to share around with friends
3- They give me a boost of inspiration when I need it
4- They keep me humble. When I read them I am fully aware of how many great artists there are who have already been where I am
5- I learn new things from them which I am able to apply to my animations. Especially with Dream Worlds and Framed Ink!
Let me know if you are still interested in collaborating too!
