It has been the subject of much repair, after suffering damage, if you measure the grave, it is 5 foot 8 inches long
    Winston Churchills height
I have an idea that the original gravestone simply said Winston Spencer Churchill Statesman
the nearby railway station had been mothballed and earmarked for closure ( Dr Bloody Beeching), it had to be refurbished and brought back to life for the thousands of people attending, a friends Father was in to help and spent two weeks there, afterwards bringing his family along to say thank you
The Modern generation will never know, how he gave hope to those in Europe trapped by the tyranny of the Nazis
nearby is a bench commemorating the Danish Resistance ,
