I have never played or watched rocket league before. I saw the tweet from NRG and I went and watched it and it was the most entertaining and stressful thing I have ever watched. 10/10 would recommend

Welcome to the Crowd :) Give it a try! I`m 2200 hours in and still "only" Grand Champ (Highest Rank at Rocket League) at 1500 MMR. This Game has one of the highest skill ceilings. Pros like NRG play at 2000 MMR.

the most Exciting moments of my life was when I was watching this series, I was rooting for NRG, ever since GarretG tweeted that "regardless of what happens, I will not retire before I lift that trophy" not sure if he said it like that but anyway, ever since then I was rooting for them and that Zero sec Equalizer by jstn on Season 5 Rly made me an NRG fan.
my favorite moment of NRG's run was when jstn go that flip reset VS Lowkey, and that turbo flick VS Space Station Gaming.
I think every single team on day 3 had a chance to take it, but NRG and RSV and DIG and PK were the best teams and Day3.

Questions I have:
What was the Lowkey match like? What do they think about SA's hopes for the following seasons (how will they improve?)
Were they worried after watching the Dig vs. Vitality match
This is SA's second Worlds and they already do about as well as OCE. I'd expect them to be more competitive than OCE in the long run. I just think any non NA/EU team doesn't generally have the benefit of practicing against the top-tier players all year round. EU and NA teams all scrim eachother quite often. It's a matter of playerbase. The more players there are, the more chances there are for strong players to emerge. The competition gets fiercer. RLCS vets definitely have an impact on their region. Because their experiences at LAN get fed back into the competitive scene. But I'd say it'll be a while before SA can really compete. Maybe 3-4 seasons? Unless some progidies rise up.
@@NLTops I mean we've seen teams like S6 chiefs get 4th at lan so I feel like if lowkey stays together for a couple seasons they could contend for a grand final or top 4 at least
@@aeralix9423 Top 4 I can picture in 2-4 seasons. Top 2 unlikely. They would have to be able to beat either the top NA team or the top EU team. Currently NA and EU each have 2 very strong teams each, with plenty more strong players that don't currently have a solid team or are currently underperforming.
The EU teams rosters are still very much in flux since the formation of Vitality, and in S8 NRG was the only one of the NA "Big Three" to make it to LAN. I really want SA to do well, but I just think Top 2 is a bit too hopeful for the next year at least.
And not sure if I said it here or elsewhere, but they should really give SA and OCE as many matches against EU/NA as they can because they need that experience to catch up. Beating up their local pro scene doesn't compare to world-wide tournaments.
NLTops I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if maybe one of the high level players moves to Eu or Na like drippay did

My favorite moment has definetly have to be jstn and the bois after the winning goal was scored, it made me even cry.
Probably the best moment was how jstn was crying after he won ROFL.
JSTN yes, but think about Garrett, who had attended 8 RLCS LANS having lost in overtime of game 7 in season 5. Oh how far he came to finally win one. As soon as JSTN hit that goal you just see him jumping up and down like crazy. If you knew Garrett you would know he's very chill and not that hyperactive. Seeing him like that just gives me the chills.

I just can’t hold myself to one favorite moment I had two! So the first one was Garrett G’s nasty double touch in Game 4 in the Best of 7 against Space Station!! It really showed off his mechanical prowess with his quick adjustment in mid air. My other favorite play was JSTN’s tactical Demo against Renault Vitality in Game 7. It set the pace for the rest of the game and up NRG up on the board first!
The grand finals was absolutely insane but the NRG/Spacestation match was exactly what I wanted. I already loved jstn. and all of NRG but I really liked watching Arsenal and if NRG didn’t make it I would’ve rooted for SSG to go on in their place. Incredible run, limitless amount of joy for NRG!
