6:50 if you didn't use rivets to hold all the lines together you wouldn't have to drill them out, use a screw. :) 8:50 get a thicker filter element for that powerhouse!! Yeah, that's the ticket! Are those heater hoses fiber lined? Time to tune that thing now. Keep it up, you know I will. :) A true "drag" car.
LOL we shouldn't have to change those hoses for a while. Our dumb fault for trying to reuse stuff. We know better, our penance was to have to dill. New K/N in the box ready to go on when car is finished. Normal steel braided hose for heater. Holley EFI claims self tuning, but we will see how true that is. This thing will be fast not as fast as my green one though. LOL
@@520speedworks6 It's just a claim, to get it right you'll need to tune it with a laptop. I've been running mine for 5yrs. When it's right, it's a lot of fun.
@@glenndiorio8967 I here ya waiting for headers and pipe to get back from jet coating so we can run some more before body is done at the painters. We will get here tune railed.
I just love that you took a rig destine for the scrap yard and turned it into an amazing ride. This has really been fun watching you guys rebuild this roadster. Gonna order your internal bolt less roll bar mount soon for my build.
Jon when you send your order in in the remarks tell me your t-shirt size. Thanks again for the encouraging words. They help as we wet sand the carbon dash for a third time. lol That will be next video.
@@520speedworks6 I had no clue how itchy CF was until I drilled the gauge holes on my CF dash. That stuff is worse than fiberglass. The whole time I had you ringing in my head about itchy this stuff is LOL!
@@520speedworks6 Just ordered 2 for my Mk4 driver and passenger side. I did not see a comment section but if you are feeling generous I would love a tee shirt in my order. A medium would be perfect so my wife can sport you guys when she is out and about. I know she would love one cause ya'll get mad graphics skills.
The sear track in this car came with the seats. In the Green Cobra we used seat tracks from summit racing. When we got them we knock out the fixed bolts and used our own.
Sounds great, congratulations
Thanks, Can't wait to here it once the tune settles in.
Awesome!
Thanks Travis

@@jon4739 ohhh carbon fiber dust sucks soooo much.
What seats and seat tracks did you use?
The sear track in this car came with the seats. In the Green Cobra we used seat tracks from summit racing. When we got them we knock out the fixed bolts and used our own.
What seats are in the wrecked cobra?
They are heavily modified NRG Carbon seats.
