maybe Guild servers will be a thing with the comeback of 6 ship servers. Would make sense since the max number of pirates 6x4 is 24 which is also the member limit of a guild
Actually If you do leave the game as soon as you hear the sound of your ship sinking, you'll respawn on the same server, you can use it to tag your friends then play rogether, I'm doing it with my friends nearly every nights @@Vodaclall
Actually had the second method happened to me when I was on a sloop and a galleon pulled up. Really nice guys, gave me a couple of treasures, explained the situation and after selling the loot I friended one of their friends and after they joined my crew I left so they can finally achieve their 6 man crew dream
That's how they should've made safer seas.If they're gonna put all of the debuffs and limitations on the game in safer seas, they should have at least made it to where you could have multiple ships of your friends in the game
I still believe there should be a guild seas maps possibly with a bigger number of slots allowing for guilds to join and sail together the design being made so only guilds can join it preventing problems like a single guild filling up a normal server and basically turning every combat into 2 ships vs 1 making it much harder for them to do anything
At this point they should give you the option to go to a outpost to bring in your personal boat. That way you can do your accommodations for the boat and guild
Easier way me and my friends do it, is we all jump on at the same time, making sure the ships will fit all of us, as soon as we log in, emmasery to the Athena's and see how many boats pop up. Way faster then going down to your ship and checking the map
Best way i've found is to all launch a game at the same time, blunderbomb yourself and wait until everyone gets on the ferry. Then repeat. We recently had 3 sloops on the same server, and it was glorious.
The first method is time consuming and can be done way faster, its also better than asking people, WAY EASIER: Instead of climbing all the way up to hang the flag, climbing down and looking on the map, just die by throwing 2 blunderbombs below you. Make sure everyone does this and communicate whether you are on the Ferry of the Damned or not. If no one sees someone else on the ferry, leave and repeat. Make sure you count down for clicking on set sail so youll find for a server for the exact same time. For console players, make sure to turn on that you prefer console players for more chance. We've been playing with 6 guys on 1 galleon for the past 3 weeks. In our sessions it takes around 3 attempts. But it CAN take over an hour.
Me and my friends used to get 3 brigs on one server , each crew member sets up a ship and you all launch from the menu at the same time, when you wake up in the tavern you blunder bomb yourself to death, if you see eachother on the ferry you then invite everyone else to the boat untill all spaces are filled with pirates that didn't get a boat on that server , we consistently did it in about 8 to 10 cycles
Me and my 6 buddies did this when Fort of the damned was big and they gave the lantern captain away for grinding it. I jumped into a server and told a guy we would buy his ship from him. He invited my friend..we did the fort one time and let him have all the loot. He bailed and we had two big boats.
Ive done this before! I have a server of friends who play called the Ashen Raiders, and for one of the members' graduation parties, we got like 5 boats on one server and got up to all kinds of shenanigans. It was like 3 galleons a brig and a sloop iirc
Each of you load up a galleon, make sure you're using the same VPN to be on the same servers, when you set sail click on monkey island so that it spawns you in an emptier server. It will give the option to start the tall tale but you'll ignore it. Then, run over to the gold hoarder's table, and put your emissary flag up and doen repeatedly. If you and one of your friends sees the same thing, youre in the same server and congratulations you win
The main way of people trying to find eachother is set sail at the same time spawn in go to ship off yourself with blunderbombs and see if your both on the ferry
Easier way to see if you spawn on the same server is to blink the emissary at the athena table. Then you can just walk to the table on spawn and see if youre on the same server by watching if the toy boat is blinking on and off the table.
They should allow you to start like a pirate Armada before you join the server. Then they could have it like call of duty or halo or battlefield where you all get a lobby before you join the server and then join the server together. And if there’s no available service for you to join, you should just be put in your own new one and then anytime another pirate Armada goes to join a server. They just get put in yours.
Sidenote, I wouldn’t want them to do this with pirate Armada’s filled with gallons I think you should only be allowed to have one gallon and the other two should be up to you but I think a three stack of gallons all bearing down on you would be terrifying
If you're already pirate legend you can both just go to the athena table and raise emissary on and off and if you see the same thing then you're on the same server no need to look at the map or raise a flag ... could do this for any emissary as well actually. Athena is just the fastest because you always spawn in the tavern
I would honestly love if you could have only up to 4 players on a safer seas session even on multiple crews, so if you want you can have 2 sloops or a pair of 2 man brigs or even 4 solo sloops, its safer seas after all so theres no need to worry about the balance of the game in this area.
no captained ship so loot takes ages to turn in 25% profit, aka nothing is worth anything no emmissaries, aka NOTHING IS WORTH ANYTHING no levels past 25, AKA NOTHING IS WORTH ANYTHING You're not playing for anything... Safer seas is a re*arded gamemode.
The way my crew always did it in the past was by watching and comparing the Athena table since the boats on the table appear in real time, or at least they used to. We haven't had any luck with that method lately, so I want to try a new method: take out your pocketwatch, then compare the day and the hour. Time isn't synchronized between servers, so if it matches you have a very high chance of being together and can move on to another slower method like the mark to confirm.
They need to implement this already. Just make it 2 boats max. I see all kind of ships that group up and lose to a single duo sloop group. It wont send an imbalance.
Me and my friends used to run double gallys back in covid days and we used the first method it actually went pretty fast with 8 people all loading in at the same time usually 2 people would get in the same server
Okay 1st. Eww alliance servers 2nd. I know of a giod way if you want to TDM train , have one guy start up a ship and you join, he leaves and starts another ship, now you are in the same server-bracket. Now dive at the same time into HG and you have a high like chance to encounter each other
How is that an alliance server. Say you get 6 of your friends that want to play SoT together, that's just 2 brigs. I don't know why people have such a problem with alliances in this game.
Launch in the morning, when the servers are fresh. Die and go to ferry so u can see each other (a little faster if you are on console than checking map everytime). Persuading a PlayStation player is useless (for now). They can't invite other players onto their boat
Scuttling and changing seas puts you in a server that is populated. Launching with multiple ships at the same time has a higher chance of creating a server for the new boats. Had 5 ships show up on one server like that in the early hours.
The Athena table, im not running all the way to my ship every hop. When you spawn in, go to the Athena table, raise and lower the emissary over and over - if somebody is on the same server as you, they will see that.
Been trying to match with someone between 8 people for the Glitterbeard event, in 2 hours no-one managed to find someone between us nor getting someone to gift us their ship. Yikes
Meeting on the Ferry is the most reliable option. The Reapers Mark Flat isn't as consistent, because everyone could run it and it could be a coincidence, that some random person has it up at the exact same outpost your friend is at.
We have been asking people for their ships for years! its kind of crazy how willing people are to give their ship away! easiest way to get a alliance server with your guild.
