1.He has been a wonderful batsman, easily not just the best Indian white ball captain but also the best white ball captain ever but one thing everyone must agree with is that MS Dhoni "The Brand" is 10 times bigger than MS Dhoni "the captain" and 100 times bigger than MS Dhoni "The Batsman".

That is not a negative point at all. We have never had all-conquering teams like the great West Indies teams of the '70s and '80s, or the great Australian teams of the '90s and '00s. Dhoni or his team were not always supposed to win every major tournament. Based on the form going into the tournament, we should not have even made it to the semifinal of 2015 WC. Based on how we play T20 cricket in a comparatively outdated manner, it is quite an achievement that we made it to 3 T20 WC semifinals under his able leadership. In IPL T20 there's no doubt about it, he is best for ever.
With that bowling attack, only MSD could lift the cup and he did it.
Overs reduced was not necessarily an advantage. Thier 2 power play overs were cut. They had no room to breathe had to maintain the run rate. Last 5 overs 44 runs would have been easy for any team to score. If pitch was really the problem noor wouldn't ball the way he did. Batsmen had to take huge risks to achieve that total. In my opinion 214 was easier to score than 171.

I love the show and content - the only thing I don’t like is the way everyone on the forum is kind of looking for validation from Vikrant, the reason it amplifies even more is because you will see these instances where when Vikrant talks everyone listens but when others talk Vikrant is in his phone - amplified even further to note that all there as colleagues are basically led by just one person - it’s those things which speaks certain things about the show.
