For those who enjoyed this I would recommend the movie "The Russian Five" which was released in 2018. It's a great documentary, even some of my family members who could care less about hockey enjoyed it.
That was magic when I watched them play against Colorado avalanche. When these 5 guys came out on the shift I knew they will score and Bowman knew it too😂 these guys connected as if they were part of a single body and mind with their flow like they were passing to themselves or the same cloned instance
I've enjoyed hockey since the early 60's. Yes, the Dead Wings era. The Russian 5 was a serious asset. They could communicate with each other and the othe team didn't know what they were planning. Awesome!
those 5 proved that the russians were a true force to be reckoned with. The Red Army teams of the 70's and 80's were probably the best team assembled. Yes our boys beat them but as a team they were truly an amazing squad.

I lived through this but didn’t understand the machinations behind it at the time. Amazing story.
Same here. I learned a ton putting this one together. Thanks for watching!!

In the intro you show 2 of the greats and have their pictures....and then you show Brad the Rat Marchand?! 🐀
@redbeard6403 Yup. Great movie. And you are correct that it's interesting enough for even a non-hockey fan. Fantastic recommendation.
