Tiger's main weapon is the nail, claw..... what you do, is not, a tiger fist, but a dog "" claw nail less "" style.
You don't under-stand the very principle of the TAO, universe, which how was the tiger style based on.
I thought it was always called "tiger's claw", not fist
At a mental hospital I met a man who had long sharp nails and dried blood under them. Truly scary to imagine what he could do if he trained like this.

@@internetvide0 I think Mike Tyson is not ok with that idea..
You can keep on scratching your own body ignoring pain and end up with bloody nails. Tiger king Fu don't use the nails, it uses finger strength.

All these tiger experts don't seem to realise that a tiger's claws come out after the pad has struck the target not before, as a long time hung gar practicioner it's the first thing you need to learn...
Hey mate, how long have you done hung gar ?
And could you elaborate more on the tiger style, cuz this vid has shown next to nuthn regarding the required info.
Is hung gar having a watered down version of the tiger style, or is it as authentic as it gets regarding the tiger ?
Says the nerd
@@haroonmohammed6351 Hung Gar has a very strong tiger. It’s a mastery of all 5 animals, not a mixture of a little from each. There’s also Ha Say Fu, the “lower four tigers” of Hung Kuen. There are many tiger styles. The main focus (speaking as a layman who studies but has no classical training ) is to maintain strength throughout the full range of each strike. HOWEVER, the point that this comment made is PARAMOUNT: cats can bat/paw without the claws extended. In your tiger strikes, the needs to be a full scope of motion. Make contact, and then shred. NEVER strike with the tips of your fingers. Humans don’t have claws, so that role is played by fingertips. Striking with them first immediately puts you at risk of unnecessary stress and damage to your hands.
Hi internet. I just want you all to enjoy the thumbs up your keesters.
You still won’t have the speed and power of a tiger, and they probably only say that so people realize how much deadly it is coming from a actual bengal tiger🤣
The Tiger's ability to combine reserved adaptive Power & Speed of Reflective combinations in defensive attacks is inspiring.
Your analysis is very original. Thank you for sharing
I'm sure the tiger 🐅 concurs with your technical analysis 🙄 😏 😉!!!
WTF are you talking about? A tiger is a 600 pound killing machine, they have huge claw and huge teeth, they are the largest of the big cats and they are all muscle, lol that is why they are so dangerous! I think it is hilarious that you tried to get all philosophical about tigers because this is a KungFu video. KungFu has nothing to do with fighting, it is a waste of time unless you just want to get exercise or learn weapons training, they are good with weapons, I conceed to that point but hand to hand fighting is a science and KungFu has no clue!

In Shuaijiao, Tiger is a metaphor for stay low in stance and bend your fingers for grappling. We never use it for hitting.

@@raphaeldaar offense its grappling so yeah probably
@@raphaeldaar For preparation for and prevenntion of leg takedown.
Shuaijiao means wrestling
@@functionmain6351 Not quite. Shuaijiao is the most common term in Mandarin to refer to the jacket grappling in Beijing-Tianjin region. It is Tianjin in origin, and in Beijing other terms such as Liaojiao 撂跤, Guanjiao 摜跤 and Buku 布庫 are used. Wrestling in English usually refers to no jacket freestyle wrestling.
Anyone who thinks their fingers can make wounds anywhere close to a tiger's claws is delusional.
Exactly
Ofc not. Tiger Fist is just the name of the style. It is inspired by the fighting techniques and movements of a tiger. Doesn’t mean practitioners will acquire the actual power of a tiger. However, as with any martial art, conditioning will enable the user to become far more powerful and durable compared to the average person. Martial arts were designed for human hand-to-hand combat.

I love the part where the robotic voice said - the fingers can tear the meat just like a tigers claw 😆
I was told you first hit with the inside of the palm then you squeeze and gouge with the fingers. It's really a matter of toughening the tips of the fingers. I would go to the park and scratch the bark off of pine trees to condition my fingers. And did finger tip push ups. Tiger claw especially effective if you put the fingers into his eyes then rake down violently. Can also claw the bottom lip as your hand rips down.
Seen a video where a guy rips both ears off of a pigs head. If you can do that to a pig head you can do that to a human.
Nah man I'm fine knocking them out. No need of all that blood and gore.

@@TheBetter_LeechPilot LOL well I do like horror movies so I got no problem with blood and gore.

Tiger strke really.. striking at the power of a tiger... 😂😂😂😂 This sounds too unreal and fucking ridiculous to be true
Griping someones neck does happen all the time in real world fighting.
So does eye gouging, fishhooking, and hair pulling.
All of wich use finger strength, can be done very viciously, and have proven to be effective.
If you specifically train your grip strength, it can be a fight winning improvement.
These moves are illegal in professional fighting or els you would see them more often.
Right hooks win fights.
So does ripping someone's face off.
Open palm strikes are a great way to deliver concussive force to your opponents face/ears/head while protecting your knuckles.
Or to prevent further damage to already busted knuckles.
It also increases your range.
Your opponent can't hit what he can't see, multiple lacerations across the forehead/face can make him nearly blind in his own blood.
Much easier win from that point.
@@TrickinNinja I think people don't realize that all martial arts have some real world implications. It's not what you train in. It's how you're training 😉
@@SpaceHound Um, if you ever had played a game of basketball with friends, you would understand just how sharp untrimmed fingernails are. I used to bring nail clippers to every game for this exact reason. Now imagine that but when the nails are trimmed specifically so you can rip someone's flesh off if you grip really hard. That's worthy of a disqualification
It's a wonderful skill, but if used that style, I might end up behind bars😂🤣😂👍.
You have learned that you can keep fit in peace and defend yourself in misfortune
@@kungfusp you do realise that you will probably break your fingers fighting like this right? Just learning any form of basic striking or grappling is better than this for practicality, but if someone did this to me in real life they are getting thrown. Nevertheless it does look cool and is something to show off to your friends if you learn it.
@@sigmaoperator1688 that’s why you condition your fingers to make them stronger by gripping wide jars and do reps, when picking them up and the tiger style doesn’t use the fingers to strike it uses the palm, your fingers are for tearing the skin or to grip someone’s windpipe to try to take the air out of them
@@Imjustspeakingmymind you cannot tear someone's windpipe out with your fingers. Tearing people's skin with your fingers is also highly improbable especially in a fight. There are dozens of ways to wind people that are way more practical than trying to grab someone's windpipe. For example liver punches are devastating, if you like your one trick moves that this 'tiger' fight style is offering you then you will love the liver shot. You hit them in the lower right of the rib cage and damage their liver, these strikes don't have to be that hard but can cause excruciating pain, wind someone or completely knock them out. Punching someone straight in the solar plexus can offer similar but less severe results. But in a 1 on 1 fist fight to the death then I would just learn how to grapple and fight on the ground because chances are, that's how the fight is going to end, Brazilian jiu jitsu (for floor fighting) and judo (for joint locks and throws)
@@sigmaoperator1688 dude ik some who practice tiger style and you can grab someone’s throat and grip it and squeeze it (pause) knocking air out of them and I didnt say you have to tear their windpipe out that’s just the style and if you have long sharp nails it makes the style even more deadlier every counter strike is a palm or claws to the face (sharp nails) and you can tear the skin off if you scratch someone, and if you think you can’t then you’re wrong I have a friend that has long nails scratches me all the time when they tap me or grab me plus I already ground grappling, “learn how to fight on the ground” yea lmao you should not want to be on the ground in the street fight or anywhere bc once your on the ground it’s over there ain’t ground fighting unless they get on top of you and do some grappling

MMA is a sport and none of these strikes or any hard kung fu is allowed in MMA.
UNIFIED RULES OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS
OVERVIEW:
The Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) aim to provide a clear set of rules governing professional MMA competition that remain consistent across the jurisdictions of various athletic commissions and other regulatory bodies. The framework of the Unified Rules of MMA was proposed and agreed upon by various athletic commissions in the 2000s and unanimously adopted by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) on July 30, 2009.
THE UNIFIED RULES OF MMA GOVERN
- Judging criteria
- Fouls
- Prohibited substances
- (Note: UFC not only complies with the prohibited substances requirements of the Unified Rules of MMA, but also far exceeds these requirements with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, the most comprehensive in professional sport)
- Number of rounds per bout and round duration
- Weight classes
- Medical requirements
- Athlete attire and equipment
UFC POSITION CONCERNING REGULATION
UFC has consistently embraced more thorough regulation of MMA and adopted the Unified Rules of MMA in November 2000. These rules help ensure athlete safety and fair competition by providing a consistent set of rules for the sport - something that was missing in the early days of mixed martial arts. All UFC bouts are now governed with full adherence to the provisions set forth in the Unified Rules of MMA. UFC continues to support athletic commissions as they work to update and improve upon the Unified Rules of MMA.
RULES
The following acts constitute fouls in a contest or exhibition of mixed martial arts and may result in penalties, at the discretion of the referee, if committed:
- Butting with the head
- Eye gouging of any kind
- Biting or spitting at an opponent
- Fish hooking (act of inserting a finger or fingers or one or both hands into the mouth or nostrils or a person, pulling away from the centerline of the body)
- Hair pulling
- Spiking an opponent to the canvas on his head or neck
- Strikes to the spine or the back of the head.
- Throat strikes of any kind, and/or grabbing the trachea
- Fingers outstretched toward an opponent’s face/eyes
- Downward pointing elbow strike (’12 to ‘6 strike)
- Groin attacks of any kind
- Kneeing and/or kicking the head of a grounded opponent
- Stomping a grounded opponent
- Holding opponent’s gloves or shorts
- Holding or grabbing the fence or ropes with fingers or toes
- Small joint manipulation
- Throwing opponent out of ring/fighting area
- Intentionally placing a finger into any orifice or any cut or laceration of an opponent
- Clawing, pinching or twisting the flesh
- Timidity (avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or faking an injury)
- Using abusive language in the fighting area
- Flagrant disregarding of the referee’s instructions
- Unsportsmanlike conduct that causes injury to an opponent
- Attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat
- Attacking an opponent on or during the break
- Attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee
- Interference from a mixed martial artist’s corner or seconds
1) Disqualification may occur after any combination of fouls or after a flagrant foul at the discretion of the referee.
2) Fouls may result in a point being deducted by the official scorekeeper from the offending contestant’s score. The scorekeeper, not the judges, will be responsible for calculating the true score after factoring in the point deduction.
3) Only a referee can assess a foul. If the referee does not call the foul, judges must not make that assessment on their own and should not factor such into their scoring calculations.

This ISNT EVEN GRIP STRENGTH, used in tiger style. This is some kinda finger zen stuff.
I've a master punch through watermelons with just 2 fingers, almost on a jab posture, but those were 1 off attempts. These masters can perform that technique, 2 or 3 times utmost which will most probably get blocked or evaded, but that won't equate to punching a 100 times.

But I can't help but think for practical fighting applications - which differs from ceremonial kung Fu forms as a discipline - that tigers are optimized to fight like tigers, and snakes are optimized to fight like snakes, and humans are optimized to fight like humans because we have different physiology and reaction time and we process information and stimuli differently than other animals.

A tiger most deadly weapon it's not it's teeth or claw, it's the palm it self. Which is easy to ignore because we tend to think avoiding the teeth or claw n thinking you'll be safe, that's a big mistake.
In Chinese people refer palm arts to tiger, because tiger had "iron palm", it's palm strength could reach 1 ton strength, imagine how tough it's the palm to withstand the amount of pressure.
Hence the strongest form of tiger style martial it's always the palm, claw are just techniques for distraction n grappling the enemy to deliver the fatal blow.

Tiger claw is used by striking with your palm FIRST, then the "claws" come after. This is a VERY niche attack and really overall pretty ineffective. Its easy to detect, deflect, and even if you land it, unless it's on the face, it will do nothing.

Many MMA sport fanatics call gunfu 'fake' til they see Shaoijiou and Sanshou/Sanda full contact fighting competitions. . . then they cop dueces quick.
But the thing is, some fighting arts by their very nature are 'illegal' in combat sport. Example: if your fighting art primarily relies upon digital chokes to injure an adversary , not punching & kicking, then the rules innately forbid you from competition.
If your art relies primarily upon grabbing the legs for takedown but Judo forbids leg grabs in competition, so the rules forbid you to compete using your art, does this mean judo is superior?

It is very useful if your a tiger I saw many lions in Zimbabwe and I dont think this style will save you
the more open palm strike can also deliver more concussive force over a wider area. The Ottoman Slap is another great depiction of this. It's the most effective when applied to the head, as it causes the most turbulence in the victims brain matter. A powerful enough blow could not just tear flesh, it could also destroy portion of the brain, leading to serious brain damage in the best case scenario. I think that is why it is more often you see the villain using the Tiger style, though I personally think it is a poor representation. After all, if you lack the capability to do evil are you truly good? I would argue that the one who is most capable of evil, but chooses not to do evil, is far far more of a respectable person.

WHY DOES THE CAPTION READ "TIGER FIST IN ACTUAL COMBAT" WHILE SHOWING FOOTAGE OF A PREPLANNED DEMONSTRATION WITH A COMPLIANT STUDENT?

I appreciate my peoples tradition and all but, I personally would rather train in a art more useful in a fight rather than a "martial art" based on theatrics and mysticism.
Wrestling, Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are better options. But, hey maybe thats just me.
But it’s so much more fun to larp about goofy untested mystical “techniques” 😂
Sir, you clearly have experience in grappling. If so, you would know how sharp the untrimmed fingernails are on a sparring partner. All it takes is an accidental swipe to leave a cut. Now imagine that, but when they deliberately trim their fingernails into a point, that is DANGEROUS, imagine what will happen when they grip your skin with those. Not even gonna talk about what happens to your throat, eyes, etc..

Boom. EZ.
@Plj nothing happens. There’s no cases where humans are ripping each others throats or gouging each others eyes in street fights using tiger style.
If that’s the case people wouldn’t need knives or stabbing wouldn’t happen.
Tiger style is completely based on fantasy.
