@@haroonmohammed6351 Hung Gar has a very strong tiger. It’s a mastery of all 5 animals, not a mixture of a little from each. There’s also Ha Say Fu, the “lower four tigers” of Hung Kuen. There are many tiger styles. The main focus (speaking as a layman who studies but has no classical training ) is to maintain strength throughout the full range of each strike. HOWEVER, the point that this comment made is PARAMOUNT: cats can bat/paw without the claws extended. In your tiger strikes, the needs to be a full scope of motion. Make contact, and then shred. NEVER strike with the tips of your fingers. Humans don’t have claws, so that role is played by fingertips. Striking with them first immediately puts you at risk of unnecessary stress and damage to your hands.

I was told you first hit with the inside of the palm then you squeeze and gouge with the fingers. It's really a matter of toughening the tips of the fingers. I would go to the park and scratch the bark off of pine trees to condition my fingers. And did finger tip push ups. Tiger claw especially effective if you put the fingers into his eyes then rake down violently. Can also claw the bottom lip as your hand rips down.

Griping someones neck does happen all the time in real world fighting.
So does eye gouging, fishhooking, and hair pulling.
All of wich use finger strength, can be done very viciously, and have proven to be effective.
If you specifically train your grip strength, it can be a fight winning improvement.
These moves are illegal in professional fighting or els you would see them more often.
      Right hooks win fights.
So does ripping someone's face off.
Open palm strikes are a great way to deliver concussive force to your opponents face/ears/head while protecting your knuckles.
Or to prevent further damage to already busted knuckles.
      It also increases your range.
Your opponent can't hit what he can't see, multiple lacerations across the forehead/face can make him nearly blind in his own blood.
Much easier win from that point.

    • @sigmaoperator1688
      @sigmaoperator1688 Год назад +1

@@Imjustspeakingmymind you cannot tear someone's windpipe out with your fingers. Tearing people's skin with your fingers is also highly improbable especially in a fight. There are dozens of ways to wind people that are way more practical than trying to grab someone's windpipe. For example liver punches are devastating, if you like your one trick moves that this 'tiger' fight style is offering you then you will love the liver shot. You hit them in the lower right of the rib cage and damage their liver, these strikes don't have to be that hard but can cause excruciating pain, wind someone or completely knock them out. Punching someone straight in the solar plexus can offer similar but less severe results. But in a 1 on 1 fist fight to the death then I would just learn how to grapple and fight on the ground because chances are, that's how the fight is going to end, Brazilian jiu jitsu (for floor fighting) and judo (for joint locks and throws)

MMA is a sport and none of these strikes or any hard kung fu is allowed in MMA.
UNIFIED RULES OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS
      OVERVIEW:
The Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) aim to provide a clear set of rules governing professional MMA competition that remain consistent across the jurisdictions of various athletic commissions and other regulatory bodies. The framework of the Unified Rules of MMA was proposed and agreed upon by various athletic commissions in the 2000s and unanimously adopted by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) on July 30, 2009.
THE UNIFIED RULES OF MMA GOVERN
      - Judging criteria
      - Fouls
      - Prohibited substances
      - (Note: UFC not only complies with the prohibited substances requirements of the Unified Rules of MMA, but also far exceeds these requirements with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, the most comprehensive in professional sport)
      - Number of rounds per bout and round duration
      - Weight classes
      - Medical requirements
      - Athlete attire and equipment
      UFC POSITION CONCERNING REGULATION
UFC has consistently embraced more thorough regulation of MMA and adopted the Unified Rules of MMA in November 2000. These rules help ensure athlete safety and fair competition by providing a consistent set of rules for the sport - something that was missing in the early days of mixed martial arts. All UFC bouts are now governed with full adherence to the provisions set forth in the Unified Rules of MMA. UFC continues to support athletic commissions as they work to update and improve upon the Unified Rules of MMA.
      RULES
The following acts constitute fouls in a contest or exhibition of mixed martial arts and may result in penalties, at the discretion of the referee, if committed:
      - Butting with the head
      - Eye gouging of any kind
      - Biting or spitting at an opponent
      - Fish hooking (act of inserting a finger or fingers or one or both hands into the mouth or nostrils or a person, pulling away from the centerline of the body)
      - Hair pulling
      - Spiking an opponent to the canvas on his head or neck
      - Strikes to the spine or the back of the head.
      - Throat strikes of any kind, and/or grabbing the trachea
      - Fingers outstretched toward an opponent’s face/eyes
      - Downward pointing elbow strike (’12 to ‘6 strike)
      - Groin attacks of any kind
      - Kneeing and/or kicking the head of a grounded opponent
      - Stomping a grounded opponent
      - Holding opponent’s gloves or shorts
      - Holding or grabbing the fence or ropes with fingers or toes
      - Small joint manipulation
      - Throwing opponent out of ring/fighting area
      - Intentionally placing a finger into any orifice or any cut or laceration of an opponent
      - Clawing, pinching or twisting the flesh
      - Timidity (avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or faking an injury)
      - Using abusive language in the fighting area
      - Flagrant disregarding of the referee’s instructions
      - Unsportsmanlike conduct that causes injury to an opponent
      - Attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat
      - Attacking an opponent on or during the break
      - Attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee
      - Interference from a mixed martial artist’s corner or seconds
      1) Disqualification may occur after any combination of fouls or after a flagrant foul at the discretion of the referee.
      2) Fouls may result in a point being deducted by the official scorekeeper from the offending contestant’s score. The scorekeeper, not the judges, will be responsible for calculating the true score after factoring in the point deduction.
      3) Only a referee can assess a foul. If the referee does not call the foul, judges must not make that assessment on their own and should not factor such into their scoring calculations.

This ISNT EVEN GRIP STRENGTH, used in tiger style. This is some kinda finger zen stuff.
I've a master punch through watermelons with just 2 fingers, almost on a jab posture, but those were 1 off attempts. These masters can perform that technique, 2 or 3 times utmost which will most probably get blocked or evaded, but that won't equate to punching a 100 times.

A tiger most deadly weapon it's not it's teeth or claw, it's the palm it self. Which is easy to ignore because we tend to think avoiding the teeth or claw n thinking you'll be safe, that's a big mistake.
In Chinese people refer palm arts to tiger, because tiger had "iron palm", it's palm strength could reach 1 ton strength, imagine how tough it's the palm to withstand the amount of pressure.
Hence the strongest form of tiger style martial it's always the palm, claw are just techniques for distraction n grappling the enemy to deliver the fatal blow.

But the thing is, some fighting arts by their very nature are 'illegal' in combat sport. Example: if your fighting art primarily relies upon digital chokes to injure an adversary , not punching & kicking, then the rules innately forbid you from competition.
If your art relies primarily upon grabbing the legs for takedown but Judo forbids leg grabs in competition, so the rules forbid you to compete using your art, does this mean judo is superior?

the more open palm strike can also deliver more concussive force over a wider area. The Ottoman Slap is another great depiction of this. It's the most effective when applied to the head, as it causes the most turbulence in the victims brain matter. A powerful enough blow could not just tear flesh, it could also destroy portion of the brain, leading to serious brain damage in the best case scenario. I think that is why it is more often you see the villain using the Tiger style, though I personally think it is a poor representation. After all, if you lack the capability to do evil are you truly good? I would argue that the one who is most capable of evil, but chooses not to do evil, is far far more of a respectable person.
