Ab is a cruel map but I love it. Of course watch out for the basilisks in the easy spawn zones. And once you are established be kind and unlock your transmitters.

thank you for this. i have played aberration a bit before with my friends on a cluster but i remember how much of a bitch it was getting off the map. getting back into ark after like 6 months of not playing and deciding i want to play aberration by myself for the first time, this info is invaluable
I know I'm sooo late to comment but the best way to get out of AB (Single player). is heading to the blue Ob during 90%day 10%night. wait near the entrance as soon as the clock hits 5:30 AM, get off and run to the platform then transfer out. I have used this method to get my Chibi out of the platform then headed back to the cave. No reapers/namelesses chasing me or no getting my own ass burnt.

Also don't forget that at the bottom of the radiation zone *(lost grave I think it is)* there's a transmitter down there, usually some drakes are close to the path tho
By myself when I want to play abb , I spawn in mushroom forest 1 or 2 ( I don't remember) and that place is kinda dangerous, but it gives you a ready path to resources and both other zones, and it is also behind the river , and behind one of the artifact cave and the spawn point for 3 drops
I just wish there were an easy way to get to an Obelisk when transferring TO Aberration in single player, since I can't use the dang drops to get my stuff.

Now i gotta go get a frickin rock drake and climb my way up to that frickin door and hopefully get that dam cursed gliding suit and a couple hundred of each gem and mushrooms and some glow pets etc outa that hell hole and peace out FOREVER

I'm on Aberration now and every time I've looked in a loot crate, I haven't seen any option to transfer or upload my survivor. They only have the option to take the items or craft some pods. There isn't another tab or anything. I think I'm stuck here... **EDIT** So I guess this doesn't work with single player. Terrific.
Yep, got to get to the surface and get to an obelisk to get out. Don't go to Ab unless you plan on staying awhile. Or you could use the command console and use the fly and god cheats, and just fly up to the obelisks.

Hey guys, so I've used this man's tactic and it works perfect, really the struggle is that structure, you may have to spawn a few times, but get used to that spawn and this method will get you out asap every time.
I can’t get out the area you said to head over to is swarmed with metal spikes and I can’t get anywhere or place anything because of the metal foundations everywhere

Cannot thank you enough, I world hopped to ab on my friend's account to get an engram (he asked me to get it while he rested) without knowing the first thing about the world, thinking I could just fly to an obelisk and then I spawned in and found out our wyvern was in fact not allowed to spawn there, and I had a mini freakout. I unfortunately did spawn at the portal, but with a little effort and a couple dead parasaurs I managed to escape on the first loot crate spawn, and my friend will be none the wiser to how long it took me to escape
This really need a disclaimer that transfer using loot crates is DISABLED on single player !!! I thought this information was what I was looking for until I went to Abberation and got stuck there. Can't transfer dinos or my stuff in. VERY, VERY unhappy camper here !!!!!!!!!

Yeah you have to go to the surface , just tame a few ravagers breed them, get a decent pack and just go up to the surface if you really don’t like it. It’s worth doing.

The point where he starts at structre is located at 25, 30 to make this alot easier and you will be heading southeast from 25, 30
