The awe inducing nature of this for me is that it is real yet seems surreal. Using the real world and what’s in front of us to give us a deeper look into what is actually right in front of us. As a Christian, I believe that God created for us a world of order that is, so far, still beyond our understanding, and as we continue to observe this reality of time and space that He created for us we can, if we make time for it, find wonder in it. There’s no deception in Wonder. It seems deceptive on the surface, but it is only a representation of what is right in front of us. There is great complexity and simplicity all at once. There is also the flow of life all around that travels up and back down, or down and back up. Thank you for sharing this with us, Chris! God bless!

So beautiful and calming to watch. A reminder that what we observe (simultaneous upward and downward motion) is not necessarily what is really happening (rotation). I love to stare at waves as the come to shore. I have to remind myself that water in the distance isn't travelling to shore, even though the wave might be carrying things to shore. Beautiful and humbling. Thanks!

This Art Piece, for lack of a better word, is astounding and mesmerizing. Wonder, as it is so named, truly is a wonder and is, perhaps, a physical manifestation of that indescribable emotion. It has been compared to “The Big Breath” (Instead of the Big Bang as most of us have known it to be called), the Original Beginning of the Universe as we know it. It’s almost as if Science and Religion have been blended together to make this incredible piece possible.

This is truly so amazing. I could not follow it at all initially, then after a minute the shape made sense in my head. To have equations of relativity modelled into a diagram is one thing, we've all seen those diagrams flat on paper so many times. But to take it to a 3d model and then bring that model to life with rotation is such a stroke of brilliance. I can't help but wonder what it will look like if you add a second axis of rotation or add a lift that modulates the angle of the current axis. So many possibilities, I feel truly inspired. Thanks for sharing this. ❤

It's also a dance... ice skaters and adncers know the physics of centripetal force - pull limbs in and spin faster, stretch them out and spin slower. The inner spiral appears 'faster' and thinner than the outer spiral that slowly makes its way back to the beginning. Such a deep art piece...

The way I feel when looking at this magnificent sculpture, I cannot even put into words. It would be impossible to properly describe such a feeling, and any attempt at doing so would undoubtedly fail to do it justice.
If I had to put such an indescribable feeling into words, then justice couldn’t
be served, I’m afraid, because it’s impossible to properly describe something so indescribable. Any possibility of doing it justice, therefore, would also be impossible.
However, in spite of that fact, if I just absolutely had to describe the way it made me feel, regardless, and I had to do so using only two words, then the two words I’d use would be “indescribable” and “neato.” It looks cool and spirally to me, and I like looking at it.

Love how this seems to tie into what you said in your last video about magic being the first time you experience something. The reactions are all great...loved Spidey's! And...another lovely video that I wish more people would see and experience 😀

This spiral would look as as a tattoo all around my arm. Also made me want to listen to Lateralus. Cool.

Watching you connect the piece to the base kind of broke the illusion/ mystery it had. But later one seeing it spin on the record player 13:31 it regains the illusion

seems like there are issues with its production.
if you go to the kickstarter project, people are complaining for not having received theirs since last year, and are getting together to sue the owner.

It just spirals up then spirals down. When it spins it looks like it goes up and down. Perfectly clear. Still calming to watch though.
