Linda, stop self deprecating! We love you and appreciate you. People who try 100+ palettes dont necessarily have better reviews to offer. We love your reviews!
Second this! You are honest and I buy things after the hype died down. Heck I just picked up the Nikkia Joy Cosmetics loose eyeshadow and I bought it because of the newer older reviews. Quantity isn't quality.
@@pecopicante4167I JUST tried her loose powder lol. I’m like eons behind everyone else but that’s ok !! Love the fact that Linda hasn’t tested 200 palettes 🖤
Man, I am so glad I popped over to your channel to check it out! It is obvious that you do makeup because you really love it and not just because it's a job. ❤
Linda, “a mere 28” is SO much more relatable. Most of us don’t have all the brand new high-end palettes to compare. For me, your opinions are much more…realistic. And how about those random swatches, eh? I’ve gotten to the point where I basically don’t do my eyes anymore without covering my hand(s) with swatches first. 😂 I actually picked up the first Mandalorian palette (entire collection) when it first launched, and the second palette at launch as well. For the longest time the a child palette was basically my daily neutral palette. Yes, it’s green. But for me it works amazingly well as neutrals. I haven’t reached for it in the longest time, but it’s not going *anywhere.* I will come back around to it again at some point. I really hope they never stop making it. Oh, and the lip oils in the collection are AMAZING. The pinky one is the PERFECT nude pink for me. It’s basically the color I had been hoping to find for quite some time.
My favorite palette this year was the Adept x Heather Austin. I found the palette after they discontinued it. So when they announced they were restocking, I jumped on it. It's so much more beautiful than I even thought. Runners up are all my Blend Bunnies from this year, but specifically the Lure. Sooooooo gorgeous
I don't think I could ever rank all of my palettes! It would change every day, lol. You did a wonderful job! I'm busy trying to fit Bailey's palette into my budget th8s month...but with Christmas, and having 5 grands, it looks like 2024. Sooo hard to wait! Thank you for all you do for us...I've enjoyed you for years. You are loved gf! ❤😊
My top 3 palettes I bought this year are: 1. Blessed by Sydney Grace 2. Tiny Marvels by SG 3. Ghost Town USA by Nomad I’ve called in love with SG eyeshadows for these old eyelids. I’m itching to try Unearthlys Don’t be Jelly and also her Fall Magic(?) palette and lip products. I haven’t purchased from Amanda yet, but I will in Jan and am excited. Loved your ranking video’s you sweet, gorgeous rocker 😎. Hope you and the hubs have a fantabulous week! 🤘🤘
you absolutely deserve all of the love you get! you work hard and make very enjoyable content. your videos are so relaxing and fun to watch! and your voice is soothing 🖤 i already knew Melt x Bailey Sarian would be number one, and for good reason! can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!
Not customs saying I have to roughly pay 80$ if I want my Fatally Yours palette the day you post this video. My soul is crying. On the upside I now have GG's Haunted palette on my wishlist (I was undecided between Haunted and Nightshade). I think my favorite palette of the year is probably a tie between Yucca and Sorcerous Smoke, and the Shroud Cosmetics Arcana just because that whole palette is A Mood and it made me rock a green and gold smokey eye to go to work.
I love how geeky you get about makeup! It’s why I watch your videos! Also I appreciate the mix of mainstream & indie palettes, you’re well in touch with what’s popular & the range of quality. Sometimes a 100+ palette ranking can be overwhelming to watch! Less than 50 is like the sweet spot for me. I see some glitter on your temple, did you try the glitter eyebrow Christmas makeup trend? Fun!
I love that you ranked all of the palettes you’ve tried! Also as someone who tried almost 100 palettes this year I can say that there are definitely palettes I will rank that haven’t been used enough to get a full picture of them. I actually want to use try less next year so I can feel more confident in my end of year rankings so seeing this helped me reaffirm that goal 😊
Breathe. It’s only eyeshadow palettes. However you rank them is how you like/see/use them. We watch YOU to appreciate what YOU like best. YOU’re a rockstar. ROCK ON! Just wondering what you felt was missing from the Yucca palette? Was it a deeper shade for the outer corner? I hate when she makes her darkest mattes cream to powder because they never show up as dark on the eye as in the pan.
Your ranking was amazing Linda! I was shocked Yucca was so low tbh but I am a new subscriber to your channel! Found you after the Creators and Friends trip! I knew that palette would be your #1
I would say my favorite palette for this year is a toss up between Melts Rust palette and Glaminatrix Rich Romantics palette. To be fair I haven't rcvd the Rich Romantics yet but the colors were just screamed "me" I couldn't help but include it. And as far as Rust goes, I feel sexy and sultry everytime I use it ❤
Pausing the video here to let you know... from one Melt collector to another, Christmastown is, IMHO, better than Halloween town, but they also work beautifully together.
This was a fun one to watch. I kinda predicted the ending, and I’m still debating getting my mitts on it! Sephora (in my area) has stopped selling this brand (WHAT?!) so thinking I may need to go to a bigger city to get. You always make my day when you post a video! Thank you.
Linda you are just such an uplifting spirit! And your passion is infectious! Now gonna pull out a few of these fantastic palettes & maybe buy the Melt & Bailey one.
I had similar feelings on the Natasha zucca palette. I was curious about it but talked myself out but then after a stressful weekend Natasha Denona was have 20% off so I snatched it up. Then I got it and felt a bit underwhelmed. The shimmers were better than in the glam but they still weren’t mind blowing. I’ve debated giving it away or try to create a hybrid palette with the glam… idk is should have listened to my gut
You always bring so many interesting palettes! I do appreciate the smaller numbers since I’m trying to cut back on eyeshadow palettes. But I think went overboard this year. My favorites that I bought this year are adept samerian sunset, odens eye trick or treat & urban decay naked reloaded. Most that I purchased were older ones from colourpop & urban decay.
So, looking at the Metal Mania palette, it's kind of giving me TF Chocolate Gold palette vibes... Like the basic mattes are covered, but the shimmers are to die for to elevate any look. I might actually swatch it when I go in! I'm not sure I'd use all those shimmers, but I wear a shimmer on my lid every day so it's right up my alley and I didn't even give it a second glance before your swatches!
looked like a good year for Linda! so happy you dont have a 100 palettes I just feel like we get the real deal on palette rankings when its more smaller and I was shocked some of the melt palettes were a little behind but happy to see another melt palette on top! I have someday got to get my hands on the royal palette from nomad its just stunning!! Trying to be good on buying for now
This was so fun to watch! Your critiques are so good. I agree about huge palettes. I don't have the space for them. And if I did I'd still prefer smaller palettes. I feel the same about The Child. I'm keeping mine, but I rarely use it. I think it's too mid-toned. Although I'm not parting with Love & Death, I feel the same way about the Love side. I wish I could break it in half and de-clutter just that side ;)
You are an awesome creator! Thank you for all the content you create. And also, if you do not have the Silent Night Pallet from Gourmande Girls, please get it...I think you would love that one.
I knew Ghost Town would be top 5 and Fatally Yours number 1! Nomad is having a 20% off sale right now as well and I've been debating getting the Ghost Town palette since Black Friday so I might finally do it. Maybe 😆.
I would love your consultancy! So ABH is my favorite formula but I don’t think they are cruelty free. I have a number of Natasha Denona palettes but I don’t understand the hype. What formula would you recommend that’s similar to ABH? Love you and your videos!
Okay, I have to ask. I recently watched another beauty youtuber repeatedly say that a palette she was testing had good opacity. I have never heard that before. For me personally, I have been on youtube for years, and I have never heard the quality of eyeshadow characterized as having good opacity. I understand what opaque means, but does that truly describe the quality of the shadow? If I shined a light on my palette, I could say that all the eyshadows in my palettes have good opacity. Where does this word come from? Is that a trending word?
Oh, it’s definitely a word I use myself often. For me, that means that in one swipe of shadow, you cannot see the skin under it. Whereas other shadows have to be built up to be fully opaque. That’s how I see it at least. 🖤
Thanks a lot for sharing that with me and for being so kind about it. The RUclipsr I mentioned was incredibly condescending when I asked her about it. Anyway, I think the reason that word creates cognitive dissonance for me is because it feels more like a broad term used to describe a technique rather than the specific eyeshadow quality. Anything can be opaque, but when it comes to eyeshadow, describing it as having good pigmentation makes more sense to me. Anyway, thanks for the friendly conversation. Happy New Year!
Linda, stop self deprecating! We love you and appreciate you. People who try 100+ palettes dont necessarily have better reviews to offer. We love your reviews!

Yesssssssssss👏👏👏
@@pecopicante4167I JUST tried her loose powder lol. I’m like eons behind everyone else but that’s ok !! Love the fact that Linda hasn’t tested 200 palettes 🖤
I found your channel because I fell down an indie brand rabbit hole. But I stayed because you’re such an engaging fellow makeup nerd! 🤓
Man, I am so glad I popped over to your channel to check it out! It is obvious that you do makeup because you really love it and not just because it's a job. ❤
It’s Bailey!!🎉 I knew it! Love, love, love!!!❤️

You look so cute wearing a pony tail:) We all love you, too!
That Lost Library collection is everything!

Found your channel this year… and you don’t disappoint. I can’t wait to see what you do next year!!! Love your channel!!!
I am relatively new to your content, but it is quickly becoming some of my favorite. Thanks for all you do.

girl your swatches just flat out made me buy Royal Europe from Nomad. It's stunning!!

I love your eyeshadow taste even though the looks I do are totally different (lighter and cool toned!). You’re very talented and fun to watch!
Words cannot describe the excitement I feel to watch this video!!!! Your videos are my FAVORITE find of this year and I wish you ALL THE BEST🎉❤
Not customs saying I have to roughly pay 80$ if I want my Fatally Yours palette the day you post this video. My soul is crying. Omg that amount for customs is crazy 😢!

Good morning Linda!!! Happy Monday! I can't wait to see what will be #1 😊 I hope you have the best day! 😊💜🩵🤎🧡💚💛
This look is so sweet! Soft and romantic! I love most of your looks, but still!
Really wanting gost town and bailey pallet now xxx

Glaminatrix Rich Romantic is absolutely beautiful!! You'll love it
Pausing the video here to let you know... from one Melt collector to another, Christmastown is, IMHO, better than Halloween town, but they also work beautifully together.
Wonderful ranking! Love your videos and energy ❤
Always love a good eyeshadow palette ranking video! I definitely guessed correctly at which one would come out on top. 😉
You are hi la ri ous!! Love your energy.love that you are excited 🎉🎉 New subbie!😊
I love the Unearthly releases so much…and I do think about them daily because I’m a makeup nerd too😂🤓❤
This was a fun one to watch. I kinda predicted the ending, and I’m still debating getting my mitts on it!
Sephora (in my area) has stopped selling this brand (WHAT?!) so thinking I may need to go to a bigger city to get.

" I don't know why nobody wants this? Probably when ever somebody picks it up, I say, nahhh you don't want that" seriously lol.
I just noticed how pretty your grey - blue eyes are... I never even knew human eyes could be grey! So pretty!
Linda you are just such an uplifting spirit! And your passion is infectious! Now gonna pull out a few of these fantastic palettes & maybe buy the Melt & Bailey one.
My top 3-5 I think change daily, but my top palette of the year was Warlock, followed closely by Rogue.
Linda your makeup looks so lovely, all of your recent video looks in general have been so beautiful ! Love your videos

I always love palette ranking videos! Really enjoyed this one, I loved hearing your thoughts on all the palettes!! 😄
My two favorite palettes from this year are Nomad Ghosttown and UD x Gwen Stefani (older but new to me). The UD x GS has the wonderful UD formula.
I recently rediscovered my UD X Gwen Stefani palette in my stash, and I really need to use it again!
That is also my favourite palette!!!!!!!!!! I love it WAAAYY MORE than Gemini

Thank you for reminding me to use my Baby Yoda palette! I’m using it in my look tonight to meet up with friends on Xmas Eve 💚
You are an awesome creator! Thank you for all the content you create. And also, if you do not have the Silent Night Pallet from Gourmande Girls, please get it...I think you would love that one.

Awesome ranking! Love your chanel❤
Your face makeup looks really good mamas
The Nomad palettes pair up well. ❤
If you like the Haunted palette, you should pick up her sister, the Spooked palette!
What's on your eyes? Idk if you mentioned it in the video, if you did I missed it...
Are those SS bolts tattooed on your wrist? I hope not because I was liking your content.
Absolutely NO. I grew up Jewish. It’s the number 13 in lightning bolts, gotten on Friday the 13th.
