I also have a 10 month old who use to scream every time I put her in the car with the infant carrier. Now that I’ve switched to this Graco car seat she hasn’t screamed again. Love it!

I just have to say, I absolutely love the reviews you do on things. Everything is always so thorough and well explained. I was debating which graco to go with for our new little one( we have a graco for our older kid) and I was also debating a different brand, but this completely convinced me to stay with graco! I bought this when my daughter was 6 months old bc she got way to heavy to carry in there! I don’t regret buying both but I loveeeeee my graco forever dlx! It comes apart soooo easy and it’s so fast to wash! I love it!!!
I'm in the same boat! Our 8 month old daughter is getting so heavy in the infant carrier, but I wasn't sure when to transition to a bigger car seat for her. I'm excited to use our DLX now. I'm glad you enjoy using yours😊💗

Make sure you know the forward facing mode has a weight limit for the LATCH system. I think it’s when your child is 40lbs, you need to use the car’s seatbelt and the lower anchor tether that goes behind the seat. Great car seat though!
We have the DLX too! As a first time mom, I wasn't really sure when I should start using it though. Our daughter just turned 8 months old and she is certainly getting heavy in the carrier. This was super helpful in learning the features & knowing when to transition out of a newborn carrier. Thank you xo💗

i care for my younger sister and we use the 4 ever DLX! she is now 8 and we just transitioned her into a high back booster since she has outgrown the convertible. so we used the car seat for a little over 7 years!!
Hi, i’m from canada ,Qc and i know the norms on the road and car seat aren’t the same but the are pretty much similair so I wanted to add that everybody shoud read the manuel that Come with the car seat whatever mark it is. I have a baby too and a learn soooooo much!!! tooo many aren’t doing the installation correctly and your child are gonna pay the fact that you didn’t read it. Plus before buying a car seat you should go on internet and search the manuel to make sure it the good one for your car because maybe it very safe on it own but when you are putting it in your véhicule it could be dangerous by the way your car is and the car seat is ...exemple your car is very small and the car seat take much space your passenger seat can be condemn because it doesn’t have the correct Space between the passenger seat and the car seat. However, if you have a accident it could be very dangerous by the impact that is cause the passenger seat or the principal seat on the car seat behind. BUT You are amazing Olivia i’m 19 years old i kown my pregnancy has a surprise it wasn’t planned and you made go trough this. ❤️❤️ now i have a wonderfull daughter and you are inspiring me everyday by the way your going trough Life !!

Is the top tether strap connected on your forward facing one? (For this car seat it is required for forward facing accordingto the manual) It didn't didn't look like it was in the footage. I am NOT JUDGING just hoping to keep little man as safe as possible! I love all your content and watch regularly!
You mention it at 3:50 as "additional security" but it's actually required so I think you may just have it mixed up! It mentions it on page 52 of the manual it is step 9 for forward facing LATCH installation!
Agreed, at 6:22 you can see the tether isn’t installed and it needs to be - I have the same seat and it must be used when forward facing. Hopefully she sees your comment so her cute guys can stay safe 😀

not sure if everyone is aware but, the latch system is only suitable for a certain amount of time. once they hit 40 lbs you can no longer use latch anchors on the dlx. stick to the manual and follow the instructions listed!
How tall is Christian? My little one is 2.5 years old, 35lbs and about 3ft 3in tall... we still have him rear facing and plan to keep him there as long as it’s safe but the graco manual only mentions weight limits for rear facing and not height limit 🤔🤔🤔😥
Our little one is about the same H/W and we plan to do the same. Regarding height limit- they have to have one inch above their head on the headrest. Check out @safeintheseat on Instagram. Her rear facing highlight has the best info on why/how to keep your kid rear facing for as long as possible.
So this is a car seat just for the car? It doesn’t have the carry handle like other car seats do?

Does anyone know why you can’t buy a graco 4ever dlx platinum in the Flynn color anymore and only the Hurley color we bought our son one back in 2019 and it’s been the best car seat ever we wanted another one for our 8 month old and to our surprise it’s no longer sold in the color we want anywhere and we don’t like the Hurley color it seems only the graco premiere is the new premium car seat ?
Any parents who have smaller vehicles this seat won’t be good for them as it’s a bulkier seat. If you want a comparable seat Graco has the e2f 3in1. It’s way more compact. It doesn’t have as many features but it’s very very similar. If you do have a bigger vehicle though, this seat is amazing!

No. That would be an infant car seat. This is a convertible.

For me, it depends on the jacket. If my daughter just has a zip-up on I leave it on. If she has a thick jacket, I take it off.
