"Made in China" means higher quality... my oh my, how times have changed. ;-) Also note that "Made in India" doesn't have to mean thinner plastic, it just means that Hasbro is lowering its standards to make more profit per unit. Meh.
The shell looks sweet. Too bad it wasn't designed to fit in my hands because I'd totally buy an adult sized version. £20 isn't unreasonable for a blaster like this. Apart from the pre-crushed darts, the Lionfury seems like a big step up from the first wave of Nerf Jr blasters.
@@izziewolf2834I think Disruptor is a better blaster since you don't need to "disactive" it when loading, but... Strongarm is so much fun, I love it! I just love playing with the cylinder heh!
I have kids, have nerf stuff, and while easier prime is definitely important to them so is fast and accurate firing and HARD HITTING. If they are having a war, we use face-shields and loose clothing as armor or have a required minimum distance to shoot another child so that the dart slow somewhat. But if they are plinking, which is most common, they want the accuracy and force to knock down the targets we set up which are usually something more exciting than solo cups. They want 'pro' level blasters, not toddler crap.
@@csg21_yt It's more about having a room full of kids that need no help and don't get jams (HUGE deal). Complexity and issues multiply by the number of kids. I've done events with 100+ kids and we pretty much have to have 2 people behind a desk full-time unjamming blasters. And if it's even younger kids, you want to give them full mags all the time so they can have more action, which takes pretty much 1 adult to every kid, full time reloading. It's a neat perspective, some of those arena review channels.
@@Kuli24000 nice you've been to nerf events, ive never been to one nor a party nor some meetup to have a nerf war. only met w/ one guy so we can show each other a few mods and homemades we made
@@csg21_yt I've only been to maybe 10 events and I had to bring all/most of the blasters. Inside a church. It's absolutely amazing in a church with 3 levels. But yeah, I spend 99.99% of my time modding and collecting and then almost no time at events, lol.
if hasbro wanted somethign that was easy for kids to use and was reliable they'd make some kids flywheelers. flywheelers are essentially pull the trigger and it shoots. my little sister neevr liked springers becuase she couldn't prime them and even the simpler ones were a bit complex for her but she took to mag fed flywheelers like a fly on dung... Just as an example...
Hey there. If you remember, in 1996, the Nerf max force alligator plaster was $20. That was actually my first Blaster. Do you remember that Blaster? Was that as good of quality as this one? Or is this one better, or is the alligator better? Just curious on your thoughts. 3:45
I think they should start selling upgrade packages, but they probably don't have a great way to market or even produce such a thing. There are ways, but my ideas arent professional lol
Dude what is nerf doing? They can't even appeal to kids anymore. Let alone teens. They r getting worse and worse. Wonder what all the stores r going do with all the back stock they can't get rid of? They can't even give the stuff away 😂

It's a pump cylinder blaster, that's a win. Kids need something that's easy to prime and load.

I'll just get a disruptor for my cousin...
Nah, get him a strongarm. More fun factor with the flip out cylinder. Plus the Disrupter is infamous for QC issues.

you really dodged a bullet by not putting the title of the video as "Is the nerf wild lion fury the new pride of hasbro"
I'm getting a Thunder Cats vibe here 😄
As a Destiny Fan, DID THEY JUST RELEASE A NERF FIGHTING LION???
Nerf would rather make low powered blasters than bring back vortex
I swear to god Hasbro isn't even trying at this point
Hasbro has been committing financial suicide the last 5 years. RIP

There's a cosplay application in this thing, I can feel it. Like it kinda gives me a vibe of the Beowulf gauntlets from DMC 3.
I like it! Also, anyone remember the cutdown Guardian Crossbow? Not as many darts but still cool! Bobololo and Walcom, shout-out
The Animal Kaiser Lion - O Blaster Lol 😂👏
Re muzzle loading, for the age range, a totally clear access is ideal. even the disruptor can cause jams. If the darts arnt seated 100%
100% on point about arenas and not using mags. Front load, internal mag, or hopper. Otherwise, nightmare.
when i was seven or somethin, i was rlly good as handling mags. good ol days when i use my entire body weight to prime the recon

Drac I know you don’t really do them anymore but that lion headis begging for a shell integration

No ecigs?
are we gonna see the guts for modding capability?
The sleeper builds are going to be amazing but I doubt the plunger tubes are full sized
@@wistralis7387 valid, i could see like a strongarm or hammershot plunger tube replacement based on size tho
Bro if it's manufactured in India it doesn't mean that the quality is not good or cheap its because Hasbro is lowering its quality
heart of a lion and wings of a bat, because its Midnight
p.s. mine works like a dream and so does the slam fire

the only way nerf can redeem itself nowadays is if it takes the dart zone route and makes a 200 fps blaster.
