Cool man! try and find the perfect speed where you're moving it as slow as possible, but still making the wing plop. That's when I seem to get the best bites. But I also play around with it to try and get a bite. Like quick rips, then a pause. Etc.
Anyways, I'm no pro, I'm sure you can find videos all about them.
I recommend the booyah pond magic buzz or the small strike king Buzz. All size fish hit those smaller ones. I have even caught some big blue gills and green sunfish and even a catfish on them.

Yeah I heard that about the frog lure, but I've been dying to try it out tho.(I've only been fishing for a year now) Got my baitcaster pretty late last year. And didn't have any lucky with it. But somehow pulled my pb(least my pb I had a scale for)
Where ya located at? I'm out in the kitsap area.
The big catch saddles are so far.. 10/10, I almost got a trailer(which i still want in the future) but the roof rack setup I have right now is pretty sweet
