    Thanks for that smart response. Bette Davis and Tallulah respected one another, which is far more respect than they accorded most other actresses, I imagine.

    Bankhead is funnier than Davis IMHO.

    Tallu was most certainly n o t jealous of Bette Davis. The rivarly, as such, resulted from
    fact that Davis imitated her in Eve - with coiff, mink coat, dress, etc. That said, Davis was
    yes terrific. But there's only one Bankhead.
