I have the same set up as you plus a lot more with all the latest GPU and CPU running my rig, RGB lighting, best cable management anyone can produce. Then I woke up, cried for about 10 minutes wanting to go back to sleep so I can continue with my gaming. Another words I can only dream of having a set up like this. Job well done and all the best in your content creating career

Biggest take away is that orthopedic chair with the cut out for the coccyx. I've been welded to my gaming chair since lock down started and if I were to see any longer in it in the future I'd know this is something I'd need to consider. I'm generally quite active and my work is mostly physical, that cut out is genius. Nice set up!
I learnt about you and your streams a few years back (cause of ets). Then fell in love with your ETS content. Then went on steam and bought the games. I started playing with keyboard, then with my ps4 controller. After watching you for a while I decided to step up the game a bit and started looking for a wheel. You might remember that we were chatting on your streams asking for your opinion; most of the time. Then I went and bought the g29 from Logitech after researching a lot. I think it was the best budget solution for me. Cause I have ps4 and pc. My setup also evolved the past couple of years. Then took part on both your convoys last year. (Then started making some ets videos on the channel just gameplay). It's been an amazing journey. Really enjoyed watching this one. Can't wait to see the next vid. Take care and stay safe.

Just a little jealous here... You have obviously put in a ton of thought and work into your new workspace and it's brilliant that it can all remain set up except for some minor changes between simulations. I have also developed my own flying simulation space which relies on wood materials to mount various pieces of kit. This allows me to evolve the space as needed with a saw and screwdriver. Looking forward to seeing more of your flying simulations with an emphasis on flight planning with MSFS 2020. Cheers!

This is has to be the best studio in the business, it's not large, it's not tiny, it's just right and you've made great work with the space you've got. The whole thing is definitely well earned and deserved after all these years. Here's to the future and the continued journey to 1,000,000 subs as hinted.
As someone who works in tech as well! Amazing and interesting to see the set up for a desk that you spend so much time on. So many people forgot the importance of looking after yourself on while at the desk. Especially now while we all work from home!
Friend of mine linked me here, and I *am amazed*. That, sir, is a great looking studio for such a small space. I might even been taking some notes for what I want to build for my area. I'm not a streamer by any means, but I aspire to be one some day. Currently I do work from home, so I get the need for ergonomics and adjustable things. I'm also leaning more toward VR streaming, instead of racing/flying-based rigs, so I'd have to plan out my purchases accordingly. I do love that you have the full specs on all your stuff in an easily accessible format. Many kudos, and I look forward to future vids.

I agree on the chair. I spent a fortune on an ergonomic 24 hours use chair and no pain since. I work from home but have back damage from 36 years as a nurse and play games for much of the evening. I built a desktop cockpit and just lift it onto my desk and plug in one mains plug and two USB into the back of my keyboard - the pedals stay in place and are my office foot rest. I use a massive greenscreen for work. I have recently upgraded my i9 with an RTX 3090 and I am waiting for another 32gb RAM (to 64) to arrive. I use an Asus Rog monitor, 34" at 3,440x1440. I think you might regret the 1080 height in time. I am going upgrade my monitor but I am going for the 49” Odyssey G9 QLED Dual-QHD 32:9 Gaming Monitor @ 5120 x 1440 resolution, 1 MS response time and 240hz refresh rate. I have another PC i7, 32GB RAM and a 2080ti Black just for VR gaming. he best thing I saw you do was the aorund Uk flight with Matt. Now that MSFS is being updated for the UK on 26th, it would be nice ot see you doing something like that again. I still play X-Plane as much as I hav eit just how I want it. enjoy your new room.
Interesting perspective about getting a professional chair. Me and my GF don't have a sofa or TV so although we're not streamers or work from home when we are home we sit at our desks. Probably for the past 8 or 9 years it's been like. We have very comfortable office chairs but it may be time to look at a more high end one. Thanks for the video Squirrel, very informative and fun!

Sweet set up! Just a note regarding the arms on your green screen holding your camera. You should make sure the knuckles on the puck are right handed. If they're left handed they can loosen up over time and your camera can fall down.

I've paid £6,000 on my new PC and I based the majority of my decisions on this video, as I play prodiminently simulators. The desk, racing rig, lighting and cameras don't apply to me, as I'm not looking to stream in the same way you do. That said, thank you for this video. You've informed me to get a machine more fit for purpose to what I needed for my interests. You're a star.

Your and my studios are extremely similar, I use the box room of my house. The only small differences are; You have a better pc Better rig Better lighting Better cameras Better audio Better rig (I really should have gone Alu profile) Running all the monitors off the one PC is a massive pain. I’m scared I’m going to break something when faffing with changing over the cables for monitors/VR etc. Nice setup though, hopefully we see a few more videos here on YT this year?
Enjoy the new setup Squirrel! I've switched to a mega wide up/down desk and Obutto the last few months. Cablemanagement is not my thing ;) but it's pretty solid. Hope to see more vids of you coming soon! (sorry i only found this one now!)

I just have a basic bedroom turned "office"/gaming, it works for now, BUT your new rig has inspired me to think more about having a separate "RIG" setup for just gaming and use my current desk for basic youtube and web stuff , my new RTX 3070 should drive the monitors that i would add ( i hope ) lol
Excellent setup, however where is your fire safety equipment? For a room packed with equipment, you should have at least: 1) A fire blanket; 2) A dry powder extinguisher (certainly not a CO2 extinguisher with that room arrangement). Perfect for any electrical fires. Yes, this does do *bad* things to your electronics, but no doubt you have offsite backup of all your software at least. Remember, a shaky squirrel is better than a singed one.
Great transformation, wonderful equipment, my dream one day to have something similar. Thanks for your streams Paul, so very much appreciated especially in these terrible times, they are the only thing we have to look forward to at the moment.

Love the setup. Dado trunking might be useful for a future gaming studio. It's available with seperators for your power and data cables.

Given the limited space you have to deal with, I'd say you've done a smashing job with the new office. Incredible looking setup mate, and I'm sure the envy of many a simmer!

Your and my studios are extremely similar, I use the box room of my house. The only small differences are;
You have a better pc
Better rig
Better lighting
Better cameras
Better audio
Better rig (I really should have gone Alu profile)
Running all the monitors off the one PC is a massive pain. I’m scared I’m going to break something when faffing with changing over the cables for monitors/VR etc.
Nice setup though, hopefully we see a few more videos here on YT this year?
I can only dream of a setup like that. It is such an amazing transformation from what your studio was like prior to January 2020.

I've switched to a mega wide up/down desk and Obutto the last few months. Cablemanagement is not my thing ;) but it's pretty solid.

Squirrel that studio looks amazing! you did a great job. I just have a basic bedroom turned "office"/gaming, it works for now, BUT your new rig has inspired me to think more about having a separate "RIG" setup for just gaming and use my current desk for basic youtube and web stuff , my new RTX 3070 should drive the monitors that i would add ( i hope ) lol
What I love most about your so well thought out and fantastic new studio is what will come out of it - your future videos. Expectations are high!

Excellent setup, however where is your fire safety equipment?
For a room packed with equipment, you should have at least:
1) A fire blanket;
2) A dry powder extinguisher (certainly not a CO2 extinguisher with that room arrangement). Perfect for any electrical fires. Yes, this does do *bad* things to your electronics, but no doubt you have offsite backup of all your software at least.
Remember, a shaky squirrel is better than a singed one.
