Long story-
There is a Cookout restaurant near where I live and they play Christian music. I keep hearing this song play and no matter if I was sad, happy or angry I always got goosebumps. As I was listening I started looking it up but then my phone died and I was so discouraged because I don't have the most reliable memory. Later today when I felt alone and left out I started humming the tune and it was as if God came to me and entered my body as to say You are never alone my child for I am always with you. I had cancer (A.L.L.) when I was a infant and became cancer free until the age of 5. My parents told me stories of other children that didn't make it and seeing their parents devastated by the news and were scared the same might happen to me. But looking back at how close to death I was, I can't help but think that God has a plan for me. I am planning on getting baptized soon also. I'm ready to fall to my knees so I may touch the sky and see my creator.
Such a touching story and Yes God has an amazing plan for your life! Remember He always loves you irrespective of you!

I was baptized on November 1, 2015. I did it randomly out of nowhere after only going to church for about 2 months, I wasn't confident but I did it because I knew I was lost, I'm not telling you this story to push you but I had a feeling to tell you my story. I didn't grow up in church, I told people I was christian but I didn't know who God truly is. I was involved in a rough crowd , people I still won't turn my back on, but now I lead by a good example rather than the drug and hate filled example I did lead by. I am now a member of church of the highlands and I'll tell you this, I wasn't ready, I didnt know what I was doing. a friend dragged me to church every Sunday but I wasn't ready to commit, I wasn't ready until one Sunday I raised my hand to be saved, because on that Sunday I knew that I had been putting God to the back burner saying I wasn't ready and I had to much going on and that I was going through some things, but in my short time of being saved I have and am continuing to learn that no matter what I'm going through if I sit and worship for at least 5 minutes, read my bible for at least 5 minutes, and pray for at least 5 minutes God will work wonders because I've given it all to him in those 15 minutes daily. I feel like a lot of times we get discouraged when we don't see instant results. God is a patient God, he's waited for us to come to him for who knows how long, now we just need to be patient and see his results, and we must learn that Gods answer is sometimes no but we need to accept that because God doesn't make mistakes. Remember God Loves you no matter what you feel like you've done. Jesus washed away your sins with his blood you've already been forgiven, you just have to confess your sins and repent. God loves you no matter what, keep your head up and don't be discouraged.

It's a real shame to me that non-Christians rarely acknowledge the quality of today's Christian rock and pop music. I think it is some of the highest quality music out there, with the best singers, musicians and songwriting of any rock or pop groups. They are one of the best examples. :)

I totally feel the same way. The important thing is that they are glorifying God and that's all that counts. God acknowledges their heart and talent. It's probably not that they don't acknowledge it it's more they refuse to acknowledge it because they are not in the faith. It's a huge sacrifice for these musicians because they could make double or triple the money if they were pop stars like taylor swift, etc. yet they have the talent. Christians are thinking eternal and thats all that matters. I feel the same way about the guitar players and other musicians in these christian bands. They are very talented.

This song... I'm going through one of the toughest seasons of my life. I can't begin to tell you my hurt or even explain the feeling. My daughter was God's gift to me almost 4 years ago. She is adopted... Now after 4 amazing years, her biological has popped up and now attempting to take me to court to fight for her back. I don't have the finances to pay for an attorney. I only imagine her succeeding and taking my baby... the sadness is overwhelming. I ask myself how I could possibly forget 4 years of memories with this amazing little girl. I'm usually the one to give encouragement and tell someone that GOD has this as He has had every other situation under control... now that it's my turn to believe it, I feel my faith being shaken to the core. I don't know how GOD, but I have to believe that you have this under control. I have to believe that you know I am a warrior deep down and I can make it through this storm as well. GOD please don't let them take my baby. She is my everything. My knees are on the ground and I am broken. I only share this to cry out for help, prayer from all who believe in it's power. :'|
