Still hard to understand how some people can say her new songs are "boring" just because they aren't that upbeat, but they're raw and personal, she made them to express herself, not to please others. But I guess its just the matter of preference.

I feel blessed that she has left the whole drugs-daddies-hollywood era so far behind, it's barely visible, no matter how much toxic fans keep crying for it to come back. The way she's singing right now is magical, with mesmerizing vocals, heartbreakingly honest lyrics and a dreamy production
I love this song so much. My favourite of the 3 singles dropped. She is realising she doesn't have to be a wildfire (destructive and engulfing) when she is in love but instead a wildflower who is resilient and filled with willpower. And she is letting her lover know how she got that way, the hospital trips, the relationship with her mother and her time spent running on stardust (maybe a reference to her fame alienating her) all coalescing in her thinking that she needed to love like a wildfire but at the end she sings about learning not to turn into a wildfire and that she learnt this from her lover. She promises not to burn him. I think real love is something accepting but also something that teaches you how to be better. She sounds like she feels accepted and shows that she has learnt too. Ah I love Lana!

I’ve been running for so long and it’s exhausting. Now I’m free and I show up as just me not what I thought I was supposed to be. I think this song is about her taking the role of a mother. She’s telling her child about how she feels much better with him and how she’ll learn form motherhood in order to keep him safe.
i think the song is about her in a relationship. and everything will be good in said relationship untill all of a sudden she is triggered by something and she starts acting out and wants to burn everything down like a wildfire. and her boyfriend is confused and is asking her what's wrong. because he doesn't understand the trauma of her past. so she eventually caves in and says because i know you wanna talk bout it.. because she really doesn't want to talk about it- as most people with trauma don't. but goes on to explain the pain her parents caused her and the alcohol and medication led to her music. but she promises she will be a wildflower and grow and bloom with him and because of him and she is learning how to be a better person because he is patient with her.

I love this song so much. My favourite of the 3 singles dropped. She is realising she doesn't have to be a wildfire (destructive and engulfing) when she is in love but instead a wildflower who is resilient and filled with willpower. And she is letting her lover know how she got that way, the hospital trips, the relationship with her mother and her time spent running on stardust (maybe a reference to her fame alienating her) all coalescing in her thinking that she needed to love like a wildfire but at the end she sings about learning not to turn into a wildfire and that she learnt this from her lover. She promises not to burn him.
I think real love is something accepting but also something that teaches you how to be better. She sounds like she feels accepted and shows that she has learnt too. Ah I love Lana!
