The one called the saddest song ever was the very best one ive ever seen it meant so much to me spiritually it just got deleted i cant find it anywhere is was with girls crying walking through forests amd cemeteries with a black crow slowely falling to the ground to it's death but in a beautiful way i could have downloaded the video with my laptop and real player or i guess with RUclips red or whatever but im so heartbroken amd feel lost as hell without the video it's gotten me through suicide my grandma dementia (well helps me cope im still dealimg with that) my grandma is actually my mother she bottle fed me as a baby been closest with her nore than anyone in my family even my biological mother i sure hooe you have seen it at least and as thankful as i am that there are many posts of this song thank god i can still hear it and i agree this video is the current best still up now and was second best the one im talking about it was literally just called the saddest song ever you type that in and find it but i apparently can't ive posted on the others videos comments if anyone out there or even the guy or girl who posted the video reads this please please put it back up i not only love it yes not like love with all my heart and soul but the song and video literally saved my life and continues to do so even if i never see it again i watched it everyday for the last year in a half I'll never forget it i can see and hear it in my dreams i hope to god someday I'll see it again or by some miracle the person reads my messages and re-postes the song back up again if your out there and read this please put it back up you have no idea just how much it means to me. Saw the commercial for this video game, and had to know what the song was. Google search revealed it was Mazzy Star-into dust. Hauntingly beautiful song! Almost like "The End" by The Doors.
I think this song is about the singer watching a friend slowly die from sickness. She has cried so much that her eyes are dry and cant cry no more. She feels like she is about to die also because her grief is so strong. The grief has even manifested itself in physical trembling. Watching her friend she can see them struggling for breath (breathless and on again). She feels the fate of her friend will kill her it is so strong. Tall is how she will see them as they are now breathless.
Yes, it does remind me of The End, only no frantic climax. Great tune to gel to. Haunting yet sweet. Now quit bogarting and pass it to me baby. I should make a loop of this before I get too relaxed.
