National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day and we are honoured to celebrate and recognize the value Indigenous staff bring, not only to Horizon, but to health care across New Brunswick. We recognize the history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of Indigenous People, and how the dedication, expertise and unique perspectives of Indigenous staff enrich communities and enhance the quality of care .
As we continue to make efforts to learn about true reconciliation, the ongoing effects of the residential school system and colonization, we invite you to join in honouring the contributions of Indigenous people in the health care system. Learn from Horizon staff about the value of Indigenous representation in health care.
