Kandy is my hometown. I was born, grew up and did everything there, now go to school and live as well. THE TEMPLE OF TOOTH RELIC - It is originally the last palace of Sri lanka . The palace of Kandy (Maha Nuwara) which was home for more than 20 kings including the last king .after the last king was captured and later the sacred tooth got moved into the palace courtyard building a new building with a golden roof .If you observed it closely you can see that the golden roofed building and the main building are two separate buildings with two different architectures THE SACRED TOOTH OF BUDDHA - Its the Right Jaw Bone of Buddha which was the sign of Royalty of Sri Lanka for centuries . which means whoever the king of Sri Lanka should be a Buddhist and the Guardian of the Sacred Tooth ..And every kingdom had a special temple to keep the Sacred Tooth which was similar in architecture to the golden roofed building (temple of tooth)

The sacred tooth relic is Lord Buddha’s tooth which is worshipped by the Buddhists and the Buddhists have a sacred value to it. A dentist would not be able to see it. You may not know the real value of it. You did not show the dalada maligawa. For me this group is like not educated abt Sri Lanka’s heritages and history. Reviews are discretionary.

You can visit Sri Lanka any time without visas. But we Sri Lankan needs visa and has to obtain bank balance to your Embasy. Don’t you all think thats extremely rude ? World is not one.
Sri Lanka is going into tough economic times. debt troubles, bad spending, money going to corrupt accounts, government troubles, the virus etc. hope it gets better but doubt will be anytime soon.
Sri Lanka also has a good government health care system which is free for all locals . Mainly it's western medicine but there are Ayurvedic hospitals as well.
