Your result will increase a lot if you place a capacitor between the middle pin (pin 2) of the mosfet and the minus of the battery. Value of the capacitor: 470nF 100V MKT.

If you want to built something for fences, I wouldn't use a high voltage transformer used for TV. If you can find a high voltage bobine from an old car, and if you have al little knowledge of electronics, then it's easy to build an energizer for fences, using a 12V battery.
The high voltage coil can be controlled with a combination of a thyristor, the pulses of which are supplied by, for example, a unijuction transistor. If you use a NE555, the pulse-pause must be set in such a way that the pulse is very short.
It is the same principle as stroboscopes are controlled. Best regards, Dirk

What kind of transistor are u using...and resistor value my friend ill try it...
Why use a 9 volt battery and glue a switch to a battery that will not last long? I would of used 2-18650 batteries in series that can be recharged. Or used a 12VOLT 3amp switching adapter using a 9 volt positive 3 terminal regulator on a heat sink. So many ways to do this but 9 volt battery is not practical!
This circuit is low power if you are going to use a SMPS or 18650 batteries make A ZVS driver which is much more powerful

Is that high frequency or low frequency?
The mosfet heats too kickly and the voltage out stops. You need the mosfet located nearby of the flyback in the TV or monitor board. This is prepared to work with that coil and have an internal 20 / 32 ohm resistor and diode to prevent overload / overheat / reverse voltage.

De 20 a 32 ohmios a un W es la ideal, la que pone él la puedes averiguar con una calculadora de resistencias poniendo su código de colores, el mosfet que usa no es el mas adecuado, si te fijas el voltaje de salida se le detiene varias veces, usa un ST2310DHI o equivalente NPN, si tienes un monitor de tubo viejo el mosfet equivalente adecuando lo encontrarás casi pegado al flyback rodeado de condensadores cerámicos de alto voltaje.
