"O believers! Stand firm for justice as witnesses for Allah even if it is against yourselves, your parents, or close relatives. Be they rich or poor, Allah is best to ensure their interests. So do not let your desires cause you to deviate ˹from justice˺. If you distort the testimony or refuse to give it, then ˹know that˺ Allah is certainly All-Aware of what you do."
{ ۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّ ٰ⁠مِینَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ شُهَدَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوۡ عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَوِ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیۡنِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِینَۚ إِن یَكُنۡ غَنِیًّا أَوۡ فَقِیرࣰا فَٱللَّهُ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهِمَاۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلۡهَوَىٰۤ أَن تَعۡدِلُوا۟ۚ وَإِن تَلۡوُۥۤا۟ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣰا }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 135]

‎Power of Protests:
‎- Allah orders to stand for justice.
‎- Prophet ﷺ stood for justice.
‎- Gives huge moral support to oppressed.
‎- Raises awareness globally.
‎- Increases confidence to raise our voices for justice.
‎- Disrupts their plan to scare people from speaking up.
‎- Demonstrates to politicians that people will not be silenced.
‎- One of the many things we can do to support the oppressed.
‎Ultimately, we only rely upon Allah, and help can only come from Him. But as Muslims; we're taught to use the methods available to stand for justice. Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest form of Faith". [Sahih Muslim]
