Very nice video speech, high quality with the material and the speech tone. Only one thing is not perfect - the snapshot is not clear, most of them I have to guess! Looking forward to more coming!!!
Excellent demo; May I know if we have any demo with Initial load More likely used as Migration approach to ADB/OCI Partitally Managed DBAAS, or a Demo to fix Broken Extract/Replicate.. after catastrofic failure,/restore/clone on source. ? it was a leborious activity in OGG classic.. ; Also DBMS_REDEFINATION (very common batch for housekeeping/partitioning/removing fragmentation) on source Had issues with OGG(12.3) replication on target ; is that not an issue on OGG Microservices (19.1) .. ?
Param file was configured to Extract,Replicate(Map) U1 schema on Source & target; for the 2 tables; in Demo it was mentioned the DDL captured is truncate statements .. Quick Q. are we assuming the 2 table Metadata/DDL was created/imported in the target before the demo? or the OGG microservices automatically imports the Metadata (DDL's) when capture,distribution,replication is setup? unlike in GG classic where we had to do that manually..Please advice
