Not gonna lie, PLUUS is the best 3rd Gen PPop group to ever debut. Not biased because they’re SB19’s juniors but theu underwent the same training and you could tell the similarities. They trained for 4 years so they perform like pros already.
3rd Gen? There's even no 2nd generation yet. Each generations designates a certain time period, and included ang PLUUS sa 1st Gen kase they debuted this 2023. Mostly kase ang timeline is only 6 years, yung iba 7 or more years ang time period for a one "Generation". Groups who debuted around 2018-2023 fall under 1st Gen PPOP. Contrary to popular belief, it is not always the timing that separates these groups. Meaning, it’s not always a cycle, a new generation doesn’t just pop up every 5-6 years. Some indicators that a new generation is starting would be, if previous gen groups are disbanding or very inactive. Or a "genre shift" like heavy on vocals/dance/stage presence performance.

Some Filipinos called them novelty but they were Popular music.

Yess !!! They have power vocals and good dancers too. They were trained for four years. Though they were seperated company with their brothers SB19 but you can see that they came from the same amazing mentors.
What's amazing with this group is that while they do look and sound global, they choose to belong to the PPop industry. They debuted as a PPop group and they aim to contribute to the growth of PPop. Soon they can conquer the global market, no doubt about it. But them setting their sights to establishing their roots first is what's admirable.
This group just feels so complete! like their vocals and dancing is all there! and their songs are just a chef's kiss like its already good and they already are at a very great start and i feel like they will just keep getting better and better the more support that they get now that they have debuted! im so so hyped for this group

PLUUS makes me speechless when I heard the last part of their song, they incorporate Filipino Folk Song in their lyrics (PEN PEN DE SARAPEN & HAW HAW DE CARABAO) which basically sang by the nursery pupils here in the Philippines and for me I would say its really cool to hear that❤

A lot of people really waiting for them and it’s worth the wait. Sad to say, they had to separate companies now but still Pluus still looking to their big brothers (kuya) . Super proud of this group. fun fact the trainig that they go thru and there handler tatang robin and Teacher hongganda are also the one who mentor sb19 before.and if im not mistaken when this guys (some of them) are trainee,Specially when sb19 are starting some of them use to perform with sb19 on sb19 free concert before because the trainig camp that they use to are same before with sb19.And know tatang robin the ceo of sbtown(he use to be ceo of sbt ph but not anymore) he really make sure the trainee they have they polish them for 4yrs before rhey debut,which happen also to sb19. that is why im not gonna doubt that this boys will be good as there senior.

I don’t know if you have watched any of sb19 vlogs but in one of them Stell, Justin and josh took their teacher miss hong ganda to lunch. They picked her up in Josh’s car and she gave them gifts from Korea. She is the same trainer of pluus. She was so proud of sb19.

I'm with you. I rarely stan Ppop (I hope I dont offend you when I say I dont stan any Kpop too huhu). SO to start with, I only had my eyes for SB19 since Go Up Days (300k views ). and then Alamat, and g22... yeah, just the three of them (I value vocals , multitasking, teamwork and risking--- so far only these three Ppop Groups don't sound like cocomelon). and then there's PLUUS, this song sounds very globalish, no wonder they are really trained for 4 years.

When I first watched their MV's, it was underwhelming imo (or there's several points to improve in MV). It must be because I expected too much from them. However, I understood that they're just starting and dont have that much of a budget yet. But, the best part is that I really like them in terms of vocals. I will support them til they make it. I really love their "Missing You" song. It was my favorite. Still contemplating who's gonna be my bias. When they were first introduced during training, I was a Theo biased for he seems matured, responsible person yet still fun. Then, during their "Magic Cover", I really appreciated JL (and Theo still) visuals. Like they're enjoying it. When they released their "WHOOPTY" dance cover, Haro caught my attention a lot. His swag. He's a total performer. Not to mention that after I heard them sing live, Haro just gets me everytime with his voice. Yen also gets me with his leadership and discipline on their vlogs during training. I started to love them as a group when they released their dance cover of "BLESSED-CURSED". Damn. I love them for sure. Also, I started appreciating Gab and Justin during their debut showcase. They portray their emotions well on a performance. It's hard to choose but as of right now, I'm leaning toward Gab just because I love his haircut hihi.

MVs are just a cherry on top; they will come with success, having the $. It is more important I think for Filipinos to appreciate how far this new chapter of Ppop has come. In a matter of a few years, the MVs compared to before have improved so much( we need to use that as a barometer); the creativity especially with new music( not covers anymore) shows Filipinos can write great songs. Wanting to be better; having goals to lift up the whole Philippine music scene ; foreigners coming to the Philippines just to see our Ppop artists. Let us compare the progress within Ppop and aim higher. Like pluus, their talent is Carrying them. I don’t want Ppop MVs to go so far that i could not hear their beautiful voices.

MVs are just a cherry on top; they will come with success, having the $. It is more important I think for Filipinos to appreciate how far this new chapter of Ppop has come. In a matter of a few years, the MVs compared to before have improved so much( we need to use that as a barometer); the creativity especially with new music( not covers anymore) shows Filipinos can write great songs. Wanting to be better; having goals to lift up the whole Philippine music scene ; foreigners coming to the Philippines just to see our Ppop artists. Let us compare the progress within Ppop and aim higher. Like pluus, their talent is Carrying them. I don’t want Ppop MVs to go so far that i could not hear their beautiful voices.
