Keep on keeping on! Love the reality of life on the road that you share with us. Visiting those beautiful waterholes just goes to show that there are always great things around the corner. Don't look back!!!
Hang in there guys. You are an inspiration to many. Everyone is entitled to a funk now and then particularly after a rough patch. Love your honesty. 👍🥂🥂❤️
🫠 Arh will be right, just painting the real picture of what we are feeling and going through at that particular time. Yea times get tough sometimes but just gotta keep on keeping on 😉🍻
Hey guys another great episode when you were talking about things getting stolen from the van i caught two local guys trying to steal from my beer fridge the other night they both left with a limp and won’t be trying to steal from our van again
We drove that Old Stuart Highway in 1972 in a GTR Torana from Darwin (where we had been living for 2 years) to Perth . We used to go camping at Edith Falls ……..no commercialism in those days .
I agree with you in regards to the commercialism of our Aussie attractions and how expensive they are to visit. I remember the days when we camped right next to Ayres Rock and Olga’s , also before there was a resort at Kings Canyon. We also 4wdrived thru Litchfield NP and camped where ever we wanted, next to awesome waterfalls & we saw very little people. I like the Victoria model of a lot of free camps and very little pre booked camping, which I hate. Happy camping guys, love your editing style and drone skills are off the planet 👍🤟🙏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Oh wow that would have been bloody amazing, seriously born at the wrong time 😂 yea we are struggle a bit with non free range style of camping on this northern side of Aus but hey if that’s all we have to whinge about, all is well. Thanks mate for the support 🫵🍻
Love your vids and your real take. It’s understandable to get in a funk when things haven’t been perfect. Daly Waters, Mataranka and Edith are top spots. Glad you enjoyed them.
We are on the road full time but we do a few house sits along the way especially on the east coast to break up the camping and to save a few $ as well. Love the places you stayed at especially Mataranka hot springs when it's not full of bats 😀
Yasss we heard there was bats there sometime. We didn’t see them at all, different time of year maybe, but wicked spot. Thanks for watching mate, appreciate the support 🫵🍻
Good morning guys. You hit the Niall on the head with the NT blues and Steph. Is spot on with feeding unsafe we only did a 6week trip it was rushed and we missed shit loads of stuff I was so far out of my Comfort zone it was crazy and you’re spot on with the distances you have to travel between places but we had a blast and can’t wait to hit W.A. and SA keep up the good fight guys and keep on keeping on❤❤❤
Thanks legend, yea it really did open our eyes coming up the guts but still there are some super insanely beautiful place along away. Thanks for the support guys 🫵🍻
I get what you’re saying. We been in road 4 years just a couple. We have stopped up and I go to work. Love in a town and really appreciate what’s on offer and meet locals in a community setting. We lived in and worked in the NT in both Darwin and Katherine and never felt unsafe.
Wow Mataranka had changed since I camped there way back in 1993. We spent all night in the hot springs with a bunch of local cattlemen and women drinking Bundy and Acca Dacca quietly playing.
Oh no we are strugglers, it’s not all peach and cream hitting the road FT. Can be quite the battle sometimes, but you just have to roll with the punches. Thanks for watching and the support ☺️🍻
1985, dad drove us from Adelaide to Darwin, I'm the youngest of 4, I was 4, learnt to swim at Mataranka, nobody else had floaties so i ripped mine off, and sank, then swam, and met another family with kids we enjoyed the place with. Years later Facebook was Invented, I was living in Adelaide again, and so was the girl from said family, we married in 2011.. separated 2020.. aahhh the memories made from a dip at Mataranka..😊
Hey guys, love ya videos so keep em coming. We live South of Perth. To us, the adventure starts at Broome and upwards however to get there is around 2500ks so we know how you feel when you say the distances between towns in the NT are great. You're young so keep rolling.
We love the NT it does have a sense of vulnerability and isolation but that’s what makes it a great place to visit and the huge distances between towns is great nonstop and start just cruise along and enjoy the serenity yes it has places that are a little unnerving but you move on and away from these places the NT has great energy we enjoy it every time it is all a mindset nothing else
Those would have been the days, def not the case now.. everything is a cost, marketed and commercialised now. Would have been awesome to see it back when it was raw. Thanks for watching ☺️🫵🍻
No judgement here guys, you do what you need. Hope you can slow down soon and get your mojo back. It's been over 30 years since we toured NT and still hope to get back one day❤
Thanks fella, mojo levels are now flowing and we back on the straight and arrow. Thanks for the support and taking to time to watch our little family travels 🫵🍻
Oh dang, my man we are already in WA 😅 we post a few weeks behind, might have to catch ya on the next loop yea? Thanks for watching mate, appreciate the support 🫵🍻😉
Thanks mate, appreciate the support. Well is actually a few apps mashed toward into our editing program but the base app is Travel Boast which is pretty easy to use 🫵🍻🫶
Hi guys have you thought about doing a house site or farm site for a few months you can save money exploring the area and free power water and a house in some house sitting guys . Guys like your honesty being straight up. I have travelled and it is not always peaches and cream.
You are very good at the drone, and there are jobs in the mining sector for good drone operators. And you can stop travelling for a bit and send the kids to school and the wife can go back to work. My wife and I travelled overseas to new Caledonia, and then we travelled back to Australia. we done a round trip, then set off to Japan and the United States of America. All you have to do is start saving as much money as you can and start up your RUclips channel in another country. It's not impossible. You can do it with some planning.
Thanks mate, appreciate the kind words. We might have to look into after WA, we are on the high atm, (cross wa for the time) so we will ride that for the time being and see what the future brings 🫵🍻
Cant agree more, Those that leave their rubbish behind really infuriate me, Its really not that hard to take it with you and get rid of it in a bin further down the road.
Oh mate, don’t get me started, it infuriates me on the highest level.. so lazy and just plain disrespectful mate. Thanks for watching mate appreciate the support hey🫵🍻
You are looking at life in different eyes. Look at things differently, and things change. The has and have nots. Or are you picking top spots cause someone says, karstan and Maxine past videos, lets try this track." And then they have an adventure. Are you following the norm or having an adventure.
Nah mate, painting our own picture and making our own footstep. We have always gone against the grain which bites us in the butt sometime but you never know till you give it a go😉
I was watching 4xoverland. One day, he travelled 1km off the road and bush camped. In the morning, it is covered in nature. Doing things differently makes a family.
Yes we often do that also. It’s apart of travel life! We just don’t film our every movement as we wouldn’t be enjoying otherwise. We like to show people the good the bad and the ugly which is why people love watching our channel. We have very good times and memories however we also show that life ain’t always peachy and things happen on the road just like back at home! We aren’t always ‘Living the dream’! We are on the road to happier vibes - promise 🙌
Well we kind did in Darwin however we just got smashed with sickness. We stayed at the same caravan park for 18days and it was sickness after sickness. Glad to be secluded and back at the free camps again. Much happier since we crossed the border to WA 🙌
Seeing the good and the bad is a great idea. If people think it’s all bells and whistles they have blinkers on .
Oh geez it def not all peaches and cream, can be brutal sometimes but you have to shake the funk and keep on keeping on 🫵🍻

Thhem kids are going to have some great memories of their adventures when they are all grown up.
Holy dolly, you’re not wrong. 😂 I hope they remember it 🤟
