Wouldn’t recommend running meshtastic on that heltec without the antenna connected. Without one the energy that it should be radiating outwards to other meshtastic nodes is getting reflected back into the transmitter and it can fry it
@@TalkingSasquach yes and also really beautiful! I absolutely love PCB's that have a nice color. When building PC's for clients I always recommend a board that's not the standard green since they're really not much more costly, some aren't any extra depending on the vendor. It'd been a shame to kept that awesome "Purple Beast" covered! 💜
Very cool. I have a couple Alley Cat Meshtastic cases (T-Deck & T-Beam Supreme), but I'd like to get another 'T-Deck' and get a clear case printed for it. The one I have has an 8,000 mAh battery in it, so I'd probably have to modify the case a bit.
If you can print your own, you can dry fit it, then get the cases printed at PCBWay. Just make the case a single STL and it'll cost a bunch less to print!

SUPER CLEAR! loved the t-deck case but the AWOK was good indeed...
I really liked how sturdy the T-Deck was. It also was just as clear thick as it is thin.

Also worth mentioning, the VGM shells have been printed great in clear, but in colour options they have been hit and miss, so print at your own risk!

The clear cases look rad, but how scratch resistant is the crystal clear resin?
It's covered in spray varnish, my clear flippers still look great, but i haven't really dropped them of banged them up much

That's a Miniware ES15 and I love it. I've got an ifixit Mako and its got all the bits I need that the Miniware didn't come with.
What was the total cost? Also, did you bundle all the stl files into one job, or did you do each part separately?
